A high IQ does not make you smart. It means you have a good memory and you are good at playing those sissy little puzzle games. A computer with the latest and greatest hardware will still be a piece of crap if it's running 20 year old software. True genius requires hardware AND software. In this analogy, my friend, I believe your software is out of date.

    Geena Davis
    Goldie Hawn
    Quentin Tarantino
    Sharon Stone
    Steve Martin
    And porn harlot Asia Carrera

All in Mensa. Not a one of them are an any way, shape or form smarter than your common hobo. Four of those names are women. So there you go right there. IQ is meaningless if a blonde airhead like Goldie Hawn has a high one.

True smarts reveals itself when a man is able to deduce that following the Holy Bible, to the letter - not "interpreting" or making up convenient excuses - is the best choice.

      So sorry Slinky Spring.

      The verse is quite clear:

      2 Peter 1:20-21

20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any priuate Interpretation:
21 For the prophecie came not in olde time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moued by the holy Ghost.

The Scripture is not to be interpreted by man. Therefore there is only one interpretation and that is literal i.e. God's meaning. God has told us what we need to follow and how we need to live in order to receive His Grace.

Now, in your rebuttal above you have contradicted yourself. So much for the 140 IQ eh?

By the way vanity is repulsive unto the Lord:

      Ezeliel 13:8

Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye haue spoken vanity and seene lyes, therefore behold, I am against you, saith the Lord God.
      Isaiah 66:15

For behold, the Lord wil come with fire, and with his charets like a whirlewinde, to render his anger with furie, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

I have to say I'm not very impressed with someone bragging about thier IQ.

I myself have an IQ of over one forty and hold both Ph.D and a MSc but you don't catch me posting hate against people's most cherished beliefs while simultaneously committing a stealth argument from authority falsity and dirty vanity.

Why don't you brag about how tall you are or how many beautiful women you have counselled through difficult sexual issues?

You sir, are a vain braggart and the Bible teaches us very clearly that we are as nothing to His magistry.

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. - Isaiah 64:6

So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do. - Luke 17:10

As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly. - Proverbs 26:11

Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it. - Malachi 2:3

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Proverbs 3:5

People like you make me sick and no doubt you will soon be in Hell.

          All the best.
1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Another blowhard whose mommy had him tested and told the special darling he has an IQ. Well, aren't we all impressed!

Friend, I take dumps after Church that have more substance, depth, texture and show greater understanding than you do.

If you were really so smart, you'd know that God has a special message just for you. Truth(r) son, is what it is all about.

Thank you Dr. Niles for the scripture, those were the exact passages I was going to refer this, this 'person' to.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I'm really curious as to who is logging this despicable piece of filth onto the internet since he is a re-tard. Having chosen the hedonistic lifestyle of re-tardation I know he doesn't have the smarts to find our beloved forum all by his simplistic self. I'm just wondering if the trash abetting him realizes that he too will spend his time in eternal damnation.

Re: A New Challenger Has Appeared...

OK, first of all, I would like to apologize for my up-front attitude. I have a tendency to sound arrogant and smart-alecky at times, and I never intend to come off that way. I don't want to attack your beliefs, I care about you, and I'm afraid you might get deceived into believing a lie. My goal is simply to spread the love of God to the broken and needy.

Now to try to answer your questions about interpretation. The Bible can be misinterpreted if one isn't careful. A good example is the Jehovah's Witnesses. They frequently misinterpret Scripture. For example, they claim that the Bible condemns birthdays in Matthew 14:6-10 because it says on Herod's birthday, he had John the Baptist executed. However, this passage merely proves that Herod was evil, not that birthdays are evil. Some religions point to John 14:28 as proof that Jesus is not God. After all, if Jesus says God the Father is greater than He, how can Jesus be God? But as we know, "greater" doesn't always mean "better". The President (for example) isn't better than any other person, he simply has higher authority. My point is, the Bible is perfect, but human wisdom is limited.

Therefore my fellows, let us all rejoice that while we may not have all the answers, we are loved and protected by the One who does!

                  Thank you.
For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous.--Lev.21:18

Dear, you perhaps have mistaken where you are. True Christians™ are not "broken" nor "needy." If you want to help spread the Good News of Christ's temporary sacrifice for the sake of those who repent and believe only, then please do join us! But you will be expected to support the Bible's interpretation of the Bible, not yours.

Where does the Bible teach that God will perfectly preserve his word in the form of one seventeenth-century English translation? I can't seem to find that.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness

Were you under the mistaken impression that Scripture needs someone with a 21st century higher education to interpret it correctly? That would certainly have screwed over 20 centuries of Christians, don't you think?

Friend, if the most widely distributed form of God's word was not authentic, what would that say about His power?

I'm certain that you have just confused yourself, and that you are in no wise suggesting that God is less powerful than Satan.

Impossible. If that was so, then God wouldn't have made the KJV Bible the most available of all versions.

The KJV is the most influential version of the most influential book in the world, written in the most influential language. What else could prove it is the word of God?
