First, I'd like to welcome you to our humble forum. It's always nice to meet a new traveller searching for Christ. Now, I'll respond to your last post.

I HAVE a bible, I've had one for 2 years-----I just said I"M not CERTAIN I understand it . . .

God's word is meant to be followed. Don't worry if some of it is confusing, just do what it says. If a passage completely confounds you, read it over and over again until it makes sense.

How old are you friend? I assume you're unmarried and that you have no children since you haven't mentioned either a wife or any sons.

Also, I would like to complement you on your writing style. I'm a Big Fan of the use of capital letters for EMPHASIS and I do it myself from time to time. Keep up the Good Work, I think you'll fit in great around here, as long as you can control your temper.

Gabriel, I'm having a hard time following all this. So far all I'm sure of is that you come from a broken home, you're obsessed with your sister, and you like to ask questions.

This sister thing is most unhealthy. You should get her married off as soon as possible. I might be willing to take her off your hands if you can guarantee you haven't already defiled her. Does she have childbearing hips or a strong back?

Gabriel, welcome to the forums. I sense a long, rough road ahead for you when it comes to finding salvation but Sister Mary is right...start reading the bible (KJV) right away. Living in Chicago, I am surrounded by all sorts of trash...queers, blacks, joos, Mexicans, Irish trash, and liberals at every turn of the corner. The key is to rise above, brother. Rise above. Gabriel I. Wight I am sorry I did not respond sooner I was looking for a Bible verse for you. Since you seem to get mad very easily I found one for you that talks directly about that. Any time you need help like this again let me know. This is from Proverbs 16:32:

He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

Just to be clear I am not accusing you of trying to take a city.

You know what? I was raised in an atheist situation, with beatings by a drunk mother if I even said my father's name much less the word Jesus, my sister was beaten for not wearing the same things as our mother(Skimpy shorts and a sports bra for example) while my little brothers were praised because they drink booze and lay with women who cheat on their men---perhaps I DO speak of her to much, but I see NOTHING wrong with a women who can remain pure and obedient even in the face of such sins, as Exodus states: "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.

I CAN honor my father-----and I respect my mother, but I cannot honor her wishes to drink booze and lay around with other men's wives, So I honor my sister who is everything my mother was, before she turned to sin---through my sister I honor my mother's memory--of when she was still Christian

I apologize deeply that such a thing offends you all

And REMEMBER I'm still learning----I moved out as soon as I was legally able, I've only been reading the bible for 2 years, instead of insulting the only family a man is proud of in effort to 'Guide' him---why don't you SHOW me where in the bible that it is wrong to honor your Family?

I feel for your situation brother Gabriel,
surrounded by sinners is not a good look.

a calm man is able to walk the straight path into eternal happiness in the house of the Lord, An angry and frustrated man must fight many more demons along the path.

dont let your situation consume your thoughts, overcome them, stand proud, guide your family from Sin and hellfire.

BE THE BOSS OF YOUR SITUATION, NOT YOUR SITUATION BE YOUR BOSS.

And thank you very much but every church I got to says I'm a nasty racist man who will rot in fire...so thanks but I literally cannot find a church.....why must you all attack my words? Can you not say the same thing without being insulting? As well since when to the opinions of a single person matter to the LORD? My opinions don't and noone elses does.......the WORD is law there is no other way....and for that reason I wish to drop the subject of my sister and upbringing as its causing anger and hate.

Even if you just stumbled out of your mother's house this morning, you could have procured a Holy Bible, started reading. It's the greatest selling book of all times. They are sold at any book store, convenient store, and just about any grocery store in the US. Any Baptist church will give you one just for the asking. We have friends and family all over these majestic United States. If you'd like, we can help you locate a good church close to you. In the meantime, I think you might want to consider reading the Holy Bible as soon as possilbe. The answer to all your questions, and more, can be found within the covers.

As I posted I currently don't attend a Church...as I have terrible luck finding a decent one,(As in a fully white one without priestesses, and false gods) I'm barely familiar in the bible----as my mother was quite disobedient and wanted to "Save her children from that life"(to Quote her) and so took us away from our father....as for a Special Event in my life? My kid sister called me while I was visiting our father----and begged me to find our father and have him find her a good christian husband, I was quite proud to find that though shes the youngest that our mother hadn't corrupted her.


Also, I hate to be rude----but does anyone read my post before responding?

Someone PLEASE Explain to me how to post a favorite bible verse,or a church if you don't HAVE either-----he repremanded me for not posting something I couldn't, I asked him to please not treat me as the enemy and judge me----as only the LORD can truly judge....
