Psalm 26:2 is asking the Lord to examine your heart and your mind to prove you are worthy of Him. I've always interpreted it both physically and emotionally- that your brain and heart are in good condition and that you have a heart full of love and and a sound mind.
Not bad. The mind is actually the kidneys in the KJV. That is what the reigns means.
Psalm 26:2 Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.

I was raised Catholic until I was ten years old. My parents died in a car accident. My aunt and uncle were kind enough to take me in, but were not going to allow me to continue to be Catholic. I have been an Evangelical Christian since I was eleven, and had learned about how Catholicism was wrong.
Praise God and welcome. What denomination is your church?
A catholic church that uses the KJV? Or were you a Christian at one point? So what are you now? Are you a catholic or a Christian?
Your tale confuses me, lad.

The privacy of minors is not a euphemism for anything.
I am aware that praying to saints is a sin, when my parents died my aunt and uncle were kind enough to read the KJV with me and help me understand it. They took me out of public school a year and devoted my studies to bible lessons.
I must respect the privacy of minors, it's terribly easy to track people online these days :/
Thank you.

"The privacy of minors?" What's that a euphemism for?

Hello Freddy McGuinness. I do not understand how putting your church here is against the law but I do not know Irish law. I do know that there are a lot of Irish policemen in the movies and on TV.
I am glad you are not a catholic person. They pray to statues and one of the Commandments tells you not to do that. I can look it up for you if you want me to. It is in the Old Testament.
There is no Martin McGuinness in my family. Thank you for being so welcoming.
I am unsure of who your response of "Unsaved not welcome" was directed to, Pastor Ezekiel. I am Christian, so am confused if it was meant towards me. If it was directed towards my comment about the forum's publicness; anyone and everyone can read these posts as long as they are literate.
Thank you both for your responses.
Welcome, friend.
Why are all Irish surnames brands of beer with mick in front of them?
