Don't capitalize atheist (unless it's the first word in a sentence, or part of the name of a group, like American Atheists). It's not a proper noun.

I could even make an argument for "I'm atheist" being better form than "I'm an atheist", because atheism is a quality you possess, not a group you join (quality used in this case as a noun, not an adjective, see definition 1 here).

Hi, if you are still here, I wanted to greet you. Last night. I went to the Creation Museum in Cincinnati area and I saw their Christmas season Presentation with a live nativity scene. These people are well educated and very knowledgeable about the Bible and history of mankind as related to God's Word and religious belief. You would do well to visit that place and see for yourself. Just because an atheist is free to love a man, doesn't mean we all do. Just because we are free to murder without a deity damning us to hell doesn't mean we want to kill, nor do we approve of it. I personally hate all war and killing, as taking the life of someone, anyone, is a horrible thing to do, and I believe nothing they may have done makes them worthy of being killed.

I think you are here to confirm your unbelief by somehow thinking you are scoring logic points against the poor deluded True Christains™. This is impossible because we have the perfect flawless, unambiguous word of God behind us at every turn.

Personally I find discussion interesting, I like to understand what causes people to love, hate and believe what they do. This may be one way for me to do that whilst also trying to provide the same things for others. Some - obviously not you - may be interested in what lead me from being a Christian to being an Atheist. Just because you're not interested doesn't give you the right to shoo me away from here before I can answer any questions for people who may genuinely be interested.


I'm not quite sure on the community around here, but I get the feeling that a lot of people here believe that Atheists are lying scum to do anything they can to turn people into the devils grasp? If this is correct I can delete this post and go to another site I guess.
