WARNING: What you read here could annoy you. I implore you to be nice. I do not like it when people are rude to me. It is extremely unbecoming.

Hello, my name is Thomas and I come from a little country called England where we are brought up with values that tell us to respect not only our Elders but in fact every single person we meet. I try to be a good person but sometimes, certain attitudes towards other really get my blood boiling. I do not eat meat or fish as I believe that A) Raising a creature just to eat it is cruel and Most of the time, the environment they are raised in is awful. I would not wish anyone such a discomfort as to live in one of those chicken pens where they live in their own excrement.

I was originally directed to this forum through a thread about Team Fortress 2. At first, I thought it was funny that you guys (and gals) think it is all about homosexuality when it's clearly not. Personally, I thought that your minds are just really idle and you need to think of things to discuss to yourselves entertained.

However, I have looked at various threads in this forum and certain things are starting to irk me. Often, members of this board use 'retardation' as an insult. I have to ask, if you were born with a disability and people took the piss out of you, how would you feel? Sinful? If so, you're daft. I cannot stand when people use such words in a derogatory way. I work with people who have learning disabilities and I can tell you that their lives can be extremely difficult. It is mere ignorance to use 'retardation' as an insult.

This is disgusting. Seriously, in Africa, they still stone people who have Down's Syndrome. By saying that people CHOOSE to be born with such a disability really is just horrible. It actually makes me sick to the stomach.

Your rants about homosexuality do not bother me quite so much and I know that anyone that is gay probably wouldn't be bothered either because they can see that you've been brainwashed.

Also, rape AND racism are wrong.

Finally, I know you probably do not agree but, forcing your religion onto people just isn't the right way to do it. I know you guys want to save everyone from eternal damnation but you're not going the right way about it. Perhaps you should all lighten up a bit. After all, the end of the world has gone and passed yet we remain alive. Hurrah and Huzzah!

I do not expect a reply from anyone for this post, in fact I have a feeling I may be swiftly destroyed by the ban hammer, but if you do reply, reply to the whole thing. Don't just nitpick the bits you can give the best rebuttals to. I do not want an argument, I just want you to see my point of view.

I agree! If someone is raped the father should be compensated, which seldom happens. And racism is not allowed here: being kind to the lesser races is something Landover Baptist is proud of.

I just want you to see my point of view.

Our view is the view of God. Thus we are right. KJV is a perfect word of God, so we follow the word of God, the bible.

People who do not follow the entire bible are heathens and by default wrong.

Thinking that you are a queer isn't an insult, that would be homophobic. We don't condone prejudice of any sort.

Condemn the sin: not the sinner. That means we condemn your gay actions, but believe that you could repent and turn from the gay! Jesus brings you the good news, Thomas: do not doubt Him.

What's troubling you, son? I've seen a lot of things in my three score and ten years; I have met with many difficulties.
