    Thank you for welcoming me

Last year, Jesus granted me a home to live in without my blaspheming mother, and blessed me with a future husband to serve. Thanks to Him I am living without negative, unbelieving influences

How creative! I play badminton regularly and have found the racquet to be a very effective "wilter", as it is really just like a large fly swatter...this would be far more convenient, however!

It's important that you read your Bible and pray every day, though, otherwise this will not happen. Really, you should just stay away from unmarried men as much as possible.
Thank you so much for your words of comfort
How wonderful that you have been reformed, praise Jesus! I love hearing about repentance!

This had not occurred to me, thank you! You are correct too, as I do not yet have a husband and no father to defend my virginity, I must take it upon my humble self to ensure the wilting of any man that may be tempted by me!

I spend each evening studying my Bible, and I certainly do not associate with unmarried men! This is essential in assuring that I will come to my future husband pure in mind and body, praise God!

11 And saw heauen opened, and a certaine vessell descending vnto him, as it had beene a great sheete, knit at the foure corners, and let downe to the earth:

12 Wherein were all maner of foure footed beasts of the earth, and wilde beasts, and creeping things, and foules of the ayre.

13 And there came a voyce to him, Rise, Peter: kill, and eate.

14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I haue neuer eaten any thing that is common or vncleane.

15 And the voice spake vnto him againe the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

16 This was done thrise: & the vessel was receiued vp againe into heauen.

17 Now while Peter doubted in himselfe what this vision which he had seene, should meane: behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius, had made inquirie for Simons house, and stood before the gate,

This would seem to indicate that it is not so much what comes into our mouths that makes us unclean but rather what comes out. It is lovely to me that you are so sincerely trying to follow the Holy Word of the Lord to the letter. There are so many people around who consider themselves Christians, and yet make no effort at all to obey God's commandments. Just wanted to encourage you in your honorable endeavor.
Keep up that great attitude and do not let your first love to grow cold!
Thank you so much for your guidance, what a relief! I was so sure I'd done something terrible

I am quite distressed at the moment! After Faith_Machine asked me if I was into "dope", I decided my Bible focus for tonight would be to examine things that the Lord says may or may not enter the body...I do not think kangaroo is permitted!

Leviticus 11:26: "The carcases of every beast which divideth the hoof, and is not clovenfooted, nor cheweth the cud, are unclean unto you: every one that toucheth them shall be unclean."

Kangaroos do not have this kind of anatomy, they have toes! I have been eating a Satanic animal all along! I am so mortified and ashamed by this.
and I have even cooked it for my fiance, thereby making him unclean also!

Leviticus 5:2-11 describes atonement for ritual uncleanness as a sacrifice of a lamb, two turtledoves, or two pigeons...but Australian laws prohibit me from killing animals unless I am a meat farmer. It does say that if that is not possible, I can offer an ephah of fine flour instead.

Can anyone tell me what modern unit of measurement is equal to an "ephah"? And is a Pastor a person acceptable to burn it? I'm so worried!

    Hello, Mary and Mr Taylor

I am first generation, my entire family is English, as is my fiance's. My mother came here as a young woman, and fell pregnant with me while visiting her home country. I suppose my fiance may be able to cook on a barbecue, but I haven't known him to do it. I could ask him, but I would hate for him to think I was implying sinister things about him :/

    G'day WITL.

How long have your ancestors been settled in Australia?

    What were thier crimes?

Why does your intended not cook? It is the duty of every man "down under" to be able to fire up a barbie.

Anyway, welcome to the forum. I hope that it will show you the true path that will allow Jesus to fill you with his glorious Love.
