When was the last time you felt Jesus stirring within you?

Sorry, I assumed that I made my sex clear by choosing a female martyr as my nickname

Personally, I am more of Corinthians I 8:34 person on the subject of procreation

I do not attend to any church, because I haven't found one that would not "cherry pick" whatever they want from the Bible. I do believe that we should either accept it all or reject it all, no middle ground.

Hello, and welcome to our friendly forums!

I personally don't believe in "accidents." I believe the LORD brought you here by design. He is sovereign in all things!

    Thank you, Jesus!

I have stumbled upon this forum by accident, and I want to thank the creators and contributors of this website, it's a really amazing source of the truths and laws that the Bible contains.

I probably won't post much, but rather read and learn. Although I have read the Bible growing up, my knowledge of it became a little rusty over the years. When approached by Jehovah's witnesses, mormons etc, I usually escape from them saying something like "no hablo ingles" (it works like a charm!). Now, however, I will be able to engage in real Bible-based discussions, and maybe even convert a soul or two.

As for my favorite quote, I think it is Deuteronomy 20:16 "But of the cities of these people which the Lord thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth." It really shows you the strong character of our Mighty God.

BTW, my nickname derives from the early Christian martyr, Basilissa of Nicomedia, who was tortured for several days when she was 9 years old, because God wanted so. (I realize that early Christian tradition is not always trustworthy, still, I was really impressed by the juicy and detailed description of the tortures).
Working...
