I fear that you may be right. Once again, I must blame my upbringing. I never saw my father discipline my rapacious mother which created an overly liberal, permissive - almost feminist - atmosphere in the house.

I guess I just wouldn't know where to start with effective punishment. And I'm troubled by the morality of preemptively punishing my wife based on suspicion alone -- I worry that it will lead me on a slippery slope of unnecessary domestic abuse.

It's a dilemma that keeps me awake at night, friends.

I hope you'll understand my trepidation about sharing the sordid details of my teenage years on a public message board. Liberal parenting seems to be giving very young children almost unrestricted access to the internet and I don't want to be filling their heads with tales of sin and homosexual depravity. Needless to say, however, that when you're addicted to drugs, you'll do whatever it takes to pay your way. I tell you, friends, that only my love for God can cleanse the dirt from my knees!

I married recently (to a woman, praise the Lord) but God has not yet seen fit to bless us with children. I have a nagging feeling that she doesn't actually want to give me a child yet. She has somewhat relaxed views about contraception - though naturally I refuse to partake - so I can't help suspecting foul play. I've learned recently of a highly unnatural product of science which actually allows women to control that sort of thing themselves. I guess I just have to trust her, I suppose.

Anyway, can't complain really! A pleasure to meet you all!

Our moderation staff takes great care to keep underage unsaved trash off of our holy board, so you can feel comfortable unburdening your soul to us. Nathaniel, believe me when I tell you will feel much, much better if you testify to us, in explicit detail, about several of your most disturbing, drug addled sodomitic trysts. The Lord is ready to forgive you.

There is no real such marriage between same sex couples, so I'm not sure why you would insinuate that there is.
Unfortunately, both of my parents were in the liberal "the Bible is a product of its historical context" camp. Little better than blasphemy, if you ask me. Anyway, they indoctrinated me with the view that if the Bible were written now, it would permit same sex marriage on equal terms. I'm only really starting to overcome their parental influence -- I'm pretty glad I'm estranged from them now, to be honest with you!

Oh Heavens no, I have no interest in hocus pocus heresy. In fact, from what I understand of Buddhists, it seems as though they've reserved themselves a special place in hell; the claim that mere men will be reincarnated, just like our Lord Jesus, is surely blasphemy of a high order.

I believe that only through God and the Church can I ever hope to achieve the enlightenment that I seek -- an understanding of my purpose here on earth.

As a teenager I did not fear God and I believe it led me down a very negative path. I ran away from home and became involved in heavy drug use, I experimented sexually, committed crimes to fund my addiction and was just generally on the road to ruin. You name it, I did it. Anyway, after a few years, I hit rock bottom -- as everyone lucky enough not to die in that situation does eventually. I was broken, destroyed, without a true friend in the world; even my own family wanted nothing to do with me. And it was then, just as, for the first time ever, suicide seemed to be an option, that I found the grace of God.

It has been several years since my terrible teens and my faith strengths every day. Every night I thank God for allowing me to escape my downward spiral and become whole again through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I would like to share with you, my friends, a verse which really resonated with me in my time of greatest need:

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Friends, with hindsight, I now see that the link between atheism and amorality is undeniable. During my rebellious years, I did not once meet a good Christian. My friends were agnostic, just as I was, and it saddens me to think of how their lack of belief was, and still is, corroding their lives.

I feel an almost inexplicable compulsion to open up to God and let Him to work through me to open the eyes of the unsaved heretics. I hope you all feel the same.
    Welcome Nathaniel!

It always makes my heart swell when I hear about the perverted travails of a once wayward youth who has recently been entered by and come to Christ. Tell me son, just how deep were your depravities? Did they involve furtive homosexual congress? Please, unburden yourself of your past transgressions! Drop your fetid load upon us Nathan, it will do your immortal soul a world of good! Our strength in The Lord allows us to bear the foulest and most graphic burdens imaginable! And do not worry about shocking us, we have heard the testimonials of some of the sickest, most abominable former perverts you could ever imagine.

I count my own testimony among the most stomach turning and gut wrenching of all and now, I am a respected True Christian™ Scientheist. Your road to salvation begins now Nathaniel, let your sorid story spew forth and feel yourself transformed! Glory! Praise and GLORY!

That was beautiful, Nathaniel, a shining example of how God's Love can fix people's lives, after all the Lord can do things men can only dream of with ease, (Matthew 19: 26) (Jeremiah 32: 17) What church do you attend? Are you married, yet?
    Yours In Christ,

Welcome, Mr Enlightenment. That was a heartwarming testimony. Which church do you go to? Tell us about your family. Are you married, and if so, how many sons has God seen fit to bless you with?
