I think that's going to make life on Earth feel like the time sitting in the car driving to a party - you know it will be fun, but you can't know how fun until you're there, then you forget all about the car ride, the smell of sour milk in the back where the three year old dropped her sippy cup, the fact the tires need rotating, the clankity-clank sound coming from somewhere in the front, a bit on the left hand side but not really too much. Anyway, I think life on Earth is like riding in the car, and Heaven is like the Best Party Ever! I get to meet JESUS face to face!!!

First of all, the holocaust was a long time ago.

Secondly, we can't help it if Muslims and Hindus want to kill each other. How are their little squabbles any of our concern?

If they read the Bible instead of the Koran and the Baghavad Whatever, then they would only get involved in wars which The Lord found pleasing, and He would not remove His hand of protection and allow them to be killed.

If you're going to worship the seven headed elephant deity of Hinduism or the moon devil of Islam, and go on ethnic cleansing jihads because of it, you'll get no sympathy from me when God lets you step on a land mine.

Hi, hidden, good to meet you. As far as people dying everywhere, you see, this is kind of a matter of perspective. What we should be asking ourselves is not why people are dying but why so many are still alive! Romans 6:23 says "the wages of sin is death", so since the world is drowning in sin, it is rather surprising that so many people are surviving. I think that might be partly because some folks have chosen to serve God, so in the midst of all this sin there are those who make God smile and so He demonstrates His mercy by allowing so many to survive. Genesis 19 has the record of what happened to Sodom: God did not destroy the place until Lot and his folks (the righteous remnant) cleared out.

About the abortion statement, you seem to be radically misinformed on this. Abortions do not take place (in most states) after the first trimester, also, the baby is not sucked out, it is induced with poison. One of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world was the Colossus of Rhodes. This wonder was created after a failed siege on the city of Rhodes (on a small island in the Aegean sea of the same name), to celebrate, the people of Rhodes sold their leftover equipment and used the money to construct the Colossus. This wonder was a massive Bronze statue almost 100 (98 to be exact) feet tall depicting the Greek god Helios. Ship captains would stare in awe as they passed under the statue to get to the harbor. But unfortunatly, since Rhodes was near a fault line, an Earthquake struck the island and the statue tumbled. Not knowing how Earthquakes worked, the people of Rhodes thought Helios was offended by the statue so they dared not rebuild it.
