I have this friend, known him long time, always thought he was smart. We grew up together. At age 22 he left Fort Payne to go to New York and got a good job as a financal advisor.

Now on the side he's doing this thing he calls 'futurist' where he predicts the future.

I don't agree with him on lotso f thing these days since he's lost his morals. But I respect him as my friend.

He says, in the future, religion will be "obsolete". And he says acceptance of all cultures is a sign of intelligence.

How can this be true?

What do I tell him?

First of all, you must forget him since he is now using crystals and other forms of divination to make himself rich in the eyes of man. I assure you he is poor in the eyes of a just God. Your friend and I have some things in common. Years ago I too lived in Fort Wayne and moved to New York City. Luckily I did not turn to the devil for my livelihood. I have a book entitled "Wall Street Guide to Dealing with Baptists." They give this book to newbies on Wall Street, according to a friend of mine that left the Wall Streeters and became a blood-washed believer. In it, it says: "Leave behind your Christian friends and revel in your new found god, the almighty dollar."

I think that line is enough to prove he's doomed to a life of demon worship and most likely hangs out near my favorite bar on Christopher Street. I mean, it wasn't like MY favorite, but I'm sure it was someone's favorite. But not mine.

There are some parts of the Bible that say do not be a fortune teller but the word it uses is divination I do not have it marked with a Post-It note.

Are you a black woman I have a colored girl who works for me she says Lawd instead of Lord do not believe the rumors you hear about us.

Hopefully someone with more experience can answer this question for you friend, but to me it sounds like this friend of yours has been watching to many harry pothead movies, He probably walks around the streets of NY in a witches hat begging for loose change to feed his crack addiction.

what you could do to see if your friend is actually a witch is lure him to a tall building and push him off, If he starts flying and laughing in a maniacal matter you my friend have a witch on the loose, you better get a can of gasoline and a torch.

In all honesty if you cant force your friend to turn to Christ, you'd be better of forgetting he ever existed because some people dont wont to be saved, You should focus on your believes and devote your time to our one True God, Not to some crack head living in New York

First Baptist Church of Fort Wayne. I am not normally confused but am wondering how to show him the truth. I actually respect him and I know he is smartert han me, always has been, so I don't want to get into a discussion to try to prove him wrong. Just want to bring him to the nderstanding I feel every time I look at the mirror and feel God within me.

I used to be addiction to medication, couple years ago, and now I am clean thank the Lord. I just do not know how to share to some people, as they are not receptive. But I want to share with them the joy I feel now. I want them to feel it. I know they don't.
