Your obvious assumption that my mother was any of those is also noted that you are extremely bigoted and think that she must have been being punished for a sin. Of course, I'm still trying to figure out which sin you think she's being punished for. A very loyal christian who made sure to tithe, follow the word of god...oooh hey maybe it's the fact that she was a school counselor who rescued a child from a heavily abuse situation? She DID pull me out of a home that was run by a man who happened to be an abusive child molestor...but of course that's not a sin right?

Also, in response to your point...if your speaking of my biological mother, she's now a christian though was all of those before. Amazing she doesn't have cancer!

So a woman raised in a christian house and stayed true to the word of god is punished...
yet a drug using whore who abandoned her child becomes a christian and is living a fruitful life...curious that.

Mother of Seven, indeed they did. Broke a few rulers on my backside. At one point came down to the police getting involved. Of course that ended rather quickly when I told them if it continued I'd contact the police and have them arrested. A god fearing christian that was going to call the cops on his parents. Think on that for a moment.

Of course I also had a strong willed mother who proved that not just one person can wear pants in the house. Heaven forbid. Oh hey maybe that's why she was forced to suffer 4 years with cancer...because she had the nerve to not only love god and her husband...but to correct him when he strayed from the path/did something wrong...hmmm...

knowing each day is nothing but pain for her? wishing god would either cure or take her?
Finding out that cancer had been growing for 20 years prior?
Then having your pastor tell you a straight faced lie to "protect you from the loss?"

Let me put it another way that might make it a bit easier. Many of the topics I've browsed through have pointed to the bible as flawless and the word of god, thus perfect. Yet when I mention that imprisoning or shooting all non-believers is close minded...i'm trying to start a fight. I was actually asking a very serious question. But the bible is perfect, i get infraction points.
Also, thanks for the points for calling you lazy. Though really, you couldn't read half a paragraph...TLDR (Too Long/Didn't Read) is an internet term meaning "I'm too lazy to read all you wrote because it's not worth my time." So yeah, I called you Lazy. And no, i don't feel bad about it.

I suggest reading the first scripture they post for anyone who thinks the bible is perfect and can't be wrong/is the living word of god...and then go ahead and skip down to "so what is the answer"
Unlike most people I know who instantly assume i'm trying to start a fight...I base most of my arguements and "feelings" toward actual facts and research. Anyways. Good place to start. Off to Love and Tolerate some people on facebook while I wait for your response.

Oh...and before you think i'm anti-christian, I actually visit most of these sites and talk to the people on them because I happen to love and respect many christians and am a bit of a knowledge gatherer...I like learning about ALL religions. You just took insult from the start...not me...

Ahhh so quick to assume...how cute. You people really should research your stuff a bit more. And really i dare you to challenge my brain and actually make me think. It's rather fun using your own words against you...you do realize that your "book" is written by man, and is subject to that man's personal views and beliefs? Yeah, i don't think that god grabbed King James hand and wrote the book for him...in fact, it's actually been proven that King James actually ALTERED portions of the bible to say what he wanted it to say...not what it actually said.

So if you think about it...it's no longer the word of god, but the word of god written by a man...and man is corrupt and full of sin...so your bible is possibly wrong and the words of A MAN. Fun times that.

Also, if you payed attention, You'd know that I once too lived under the harsh rule of the 2 by 4 you call "God". You call me frail, yet I continued to believe in christianity until A PASTOR had the balls to tell me a lie...Cute. Very Very Cute.
