    Re: Greetings

Yes God wants everyone to accept Salvation™
Yes, God wants this so badly that he sent His only Son to die on the Cross.
This is exactly why he hates those who reject His love.

Now, go back and read this partial list of people that God specifically hates.

      Re: Greetings

As I said many times, this is where our beliefs differ. And seeing how I was not prepared for a "debate" on this, I am calling in my friends from a Creation Science Institute near where I live. They will answer this using the word of God and NOTHING else. I will have their answer in a few days depending on their schedule. I will also be doing research of my own.

        Re: Greetings

It's always amusing when someone uses Romans 5:8 as "proof" that God loves everyone, as it proves adequately that that person has not read the Bible but used an internet search or relied on a false priest for the Bible knowledge. Anyone who has actually read the Bible, or even just the page with Romans 5:8 on it has also read Romans 5:5, and let us all remember when the Holy Ghost entered us... Exactly, it happened with our baptism.

God only spreads His love through the Holy Spirit, which exists only in True Christians(tm). According to the Bible God can only love Christians.

And of course all logic also points to God hating sinners, not the sin. If God hated the sin He would stop the sin, but instead of stopping the sin God stops the sinner, God punishes the sinner, God kills the sinner.
        Leviticus 26:15-16
And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant: I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

Why would He die for people He hates?
He died for the chosen few, who had the incredible luck to hear about Him. You do realize that during the last 2000 years the people who did hear about Jesus constitute a minority among all the people who lived during that time, right?

So where's the love of God for the billions who died without even having a chance to believe in Jesus?

God does not want anyone to suffer in hell.
Wrong (see the verse cited above, and also 2 Chronicles 18:22 which I have already quoted earlier).

Just think about it: if God wouldn't want anybody to suffer in Hell, He wouldn't have created Hell in the first place!

That is why He gave us (the sinners, see Romans 3:23) a way out.
Yes - us the sinners who repented and accepted Him - the lucky chosen few. Not all of humanity.

Why don't you sit down and read the Bible, instead of googling random verses?

I don't get how you can say God wants to see people Burn in hell after I supported a verse to back up my claim. Your verse is taken WAYYYY out of context this time. Excuse me, how did I insult you, exactly?

Actually, I should feel insulted by you, because I dedicated my time (I should have already gone to sleep, I need to get up early tomorrow) to explain to you basic stuff which every Christian should know already. You, on the other hand, apparently did not read anything of what I've written, and you just keep repeating a few verses, after it was explained to you (by me and others) over and over again that you should read the Bible in context, and not just cherry pick a few verses because "they sound nice."

How is it out of context? 2 Thessalonians 2:3-14 is about people destined to Hell, and the verse I quoted is part of it.

You tell me to read God's word, but yet YOU NEED to!! God does not mislead people to hell.
I just showed you the opposite, with appropriate Bible quotes.

Here's another one for ya, sweetie:

Ezekiel 14:9 And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the Lord have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.

If that is what you truly believe, I am done with this forum. I cannot post with people that have a god of hate.
It's all in the Bible, dear.

Show me 1 verse JUST 1 verse that supports that our God is a god of hate (that is not taken WAY out of context) and I will say you are right. I cannot ever make my self believe "the elect" that God brings to him and let the others die. My church teaches it but I cannot wrap my mind around why God would elect a few, and lead others astray. According to you, our god is a god of hate. Sure that makes sense (not really)

                      Proverbs 16:4
The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

                      Isaiah 45:7
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

                      Joshua 23:15
Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you.
                      God doesn't love everybody:

                      Proverbs 6
[16] These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
[17] A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
[18] An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
[19] A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
And don't give me any "He hates the sin, not the sinner" crap...

                      Matthew 13
                      [38] The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
[39] The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
[40] As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
                      [41] The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
[42] And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
You've never actually read the Bible, have you.

You're like one of these fools who read the headlines of the newspaper, skip the articles, and then think they know everything.

Psalm 53:5 There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.

Psalm 73:20 As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.

Psalm 78:59 When God heard this, he was wroth, and greatly abhorred Israel:

Lamentations 2:6 And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the assembly: the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest.

Hosea 9:15 All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters.

Amos 5:21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.

Zechariah 11:8 Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me.

Not a single person has insulted you. The only insults you perceive are the verses from the Bible (!) that you disagree with, those are the actual words that God spoke to us! You call God's words insults! If you are insulted by the contents of His Word then you should not flee us, but instead you should think: why do you hate the Word of the Lord? Did God not say that anyone who disagrees with any commandment, even if it's deep down in his heart, will suffer illness and death for just that crime? (hint: yes, He did)

Are you really a Christian if you don't agree with the Bible? Think on that. When you decide you really do believe everything the Bible says you are more than welcome with us. For now you are also welcome, as long as you are willing to learn. Don't close your heart to God, accept Him as He is, not as you want Him to be.

I have a firm conviction, and I am 100% my salvation is true. I may lack in knowledge of the Bible. Surprises me though because I read the same passages you people give me to back up your statement, and I still get a whole different thing out of it. To me, it seems this whole Forum takes the Bible out of context. Again, this is just what I believe, and I wish to stop disusing this now.

Hello. .welcome to the forum. It can be a problem when secular values are mixed with The Truth. For example, I noticed in your introduction a certain lackadaisical trend.

I grew up in a Christian house. My dad was Christian. My mom was Christian. I don't have much of a testimony because I was saved so early. Let me tell you about my drug problem. I was drug to church on Sunday, drug back to church on Monday night prayer meeting, Wednesday Bible study, Friday Bible Study, and Sunday morning church.
That leaves Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday afternoon and Sunday evening unaccounted for. I am not a critical person and am sure your parents thought they knew what they were doing but can share with you that left to my own devices (usually by the expedient of climbing out of the window) on Saturday night never resulted in anything likely to glorify God. It was only when I learned from bitter experience that my ideas led to ruin and despair, despair I now see described in The Bible, that I could embrace The Truth and be free.

Had I attended Church activities more regularly during the week and not associated with wanton libertines such as one meets when climbing out of one's bedroom window especially if they're just outside whistling, I would not have accumulated God's hate to the extent that I did. Now I know what it means to hate God and can rejoice in that beautiful Psalm vouchsafed for us by King David.

PSALM 139 O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee. For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee. Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men. For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain. Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies. Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. KJV

                                To the original poster:
Are you on drugs? Druggies tend to take The Holy Bible way out of context, like you. God does NOT love everyone and you have been given a lot of Biblical PROOF of that. What the Bible says goes. Why would God tell us one thing and not mean it? Are you calling him a liar??

Please actually READ The Bible and stop neglecting God.

                                P.S.
