God said to me

My mom always says to avoid people who hear voices in their head because they are crazy. My Pastor always says that God answers all prayers, as long as you truly believe. It's in the Bible so it must be true. When I asked my mother if she thinks my Pastor is crazy she got angry. Then she cried a little and said I disappointing her and Jesus. I have never heard God while I prayed so I am not believing enough. I try really hard. You must really believe to hear the voice of God.
