Oh, how it touches my heart to see a person in the process of throwing off the shackles of irrational superstition!

Now then, as long as you're divesting yourself of shackles, maybe this would be a good time to talk about your shekels. Miss Cookie in our finance department tells me you've not yet set up a tithing schedule.

Tithing is very important. God wants you to make sure there's plenty of meat in His house:

    Malachi 3:10

10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

(Please note that shekels or US dollars are the preferred medium for tithing. Actual meat can be problematic, especially if you're shipping it over a long distance.)

No, that doesn't seem silly Mr Weinstein. I've never seen the point of writing G-d because that is not the English version of the Divine Name substituted with a different word in Hebrew. That word in English is LORD, not God.

Jehovah's Witnesses go off over this like a mine-of-serpents, and I'm glad to see that you are turning out to be sensible. I've been making some doyleys. Do you think your mother would like one? Here is a mine-of-serpents. It's one of my favourites!

This brought a smile to my face as well. So happy to see someone overcoming a belief in a stupid superstition of unknown providence and replacing it with a belief in the LORD.

          Mor(t)on is it?

haha just kidding with your name haha.

Anyjoo, welcome to the forums. Hope to see you in heavan someday. It'd be great to see your resurrection along with all of ours.

Would you do me a favor though? would you mind saying "Hey LAdy!" just once for us?

          Thanks

Edit: oh wow, that " (t) " looks like a but with a trampstamp. I didn't mean it like that. it was just supposed to be a "t" separated from the "m o r o n" part.
