Gravity is pulling it all together, or down if some people see it that way.
Basically, something causes matter to resist collapsing from the gravity. That's all I mean.

The KJV is in itself, however, a translation from the original Bible text that was not the KJV. I'm just saying where the KJV came from, I'm not debating the KJV itself.

Well, the planet isn't inverting into a black hole. Something is keeping Earth's mass from continuing to shrink in volume to THAT extreme.
Or, in context with the flat Earth, something is keeping Earth's... layer from falling. The pillars!

Well, there are pillars supporting the world and beams holding heaven together. If "pillars" are to be a metaphor for "gravity" then how could they be shaken? Perhaps you might propose gravity waves. But then we need something to create those. One such proposal might be a species of particle so large that the universe is not yet big enough to contain them therefore they exist as radiation in a sort of false vacuum driving a new inflationary epoch and encountered as dark energy? Like protons would have been encountered back when the universe was smaller than a proton?
You see how the model is getting more and more complicated but not actually explaining anything? We do actually read science textbooks—that's how we know they're wrong—and it is encouraging when someone seeks out perfect knowledge rather than relying on the latest "theory" from McGraw-Hill or Springer press releases.

The earth is set upon pillars. God can shake those pillars or agitate the world directly. He made it and His knowledge is perfect, He has told us this about the world He's made, we can be certain that it is true. He has also mentioned Heaven.

Psalm 104:1-3 Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty. Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain: Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind: KJV

Heaven is located above the sky. The sky is a firmament cast in metal and is sufficiently strong to support the structures above it. God has told us that is how we know it's true. The firmament is itself set upon pillars, the pillars of Heaven. None of this agrees with anything you'll find published in science journals, therefore the journals are false. God has even explained that detail, explained so that we will know and understand the narrow path leading us to Heaven.

It follows, rather obviously, that rejecting God's Inerrant Word and preferring the inane ramblings of science falsely so called bodes ill for eternity. The two are explicitly linked. All of these ridiculous ideas have their genesis in the pagan philosophies of Greece, denying God absolutely. Accepting their mumbojumbo in the face of God's Revealed Wisdom is a grave error indeed.
