Re: Introduction
Thank you. My first official date with him is going to be at my house chaperoned by my parents, of course. My mother has told me to cook, and I'm trying to come up with a good menu. What suggestions do you have? He likes plenty of coffee, bacon, lard, pies, and venison. What dishes work well with that?

Re: Introduction
You must demonstrate what a good wife you'd make. If you have the opportunity cook a meal for him or offer him some of your baked goods. Dress nicely - just enough to get him interested, but modest enough so that he knows you're not a harlot. Jump to his every whim. For instance, if he wants a glass of water, get it immediately before your mother goes to do it. Laugh at his jokes, even if they're not funny. Don't express any opinion except to say that you agree with his opinions. If there are small children around, show how maternal you are, so that he knows you'd make a good mother. Be Godly - quote scripture when possible. Smile coyly at him. If you notice him looking at you, don't make eyes back at him, but look at your hands in your lap. In other words, just be yourself.Originally posted by lstark16 View PostI have many questions to ask. My father has picked out a truly Godly man for me to marry. Re: Introduction
I do not suggest advice or opinions but Jesus is clear that remaining silent is the way to go. Any questions should be addressed to your new owner but they would not relate to marriage (you'll already be wed by then) and remember to be frightened of him. Frightened at all times. God is explicit on this one:Originally posted by lstark16 View PostI have many questions to ask. My father has picked out a truly Godly man for me to marry. 2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.

Re: Introduction
Hello. It's always a delight to meet another in Him. So few accept God's Standard where affaires de cœur are involved and Genesis 28 provides the setting for our assurance:Originally posted by lstark16 View PostThank you all for your kind welcomes. I hope that "And God Almighty blesse thee, and make thee fruitfull, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people" Genesis 28:3.
GENESIS 28
1 And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.
2 Arise, go to Padanaram, to the house of Bethuel thy mother's father; and take thee a wife from thence of the daughters of Laban thy mother's brother.
3 And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a multitude of people;
4 And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the land wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham.
KJV .. look up . context
That inheritance is ours. Who preserved the words of God's Just Law did not preserve its spirit; Jesus teaches us:
MATTHEW 21
43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
KJV .. look up . context
Wretches such as Israelite priests, Pharisees, Saducees, assorted Zealots and let's face it the Jews in general upon meeting Jesus had but a single urge among them. Murder:
JOHN 5
8-9 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath..
16-17 And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day. But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.
18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
KJV .. look up . context . The Bible is clear on this
Miss Lamb shows us the Joy He Delivers upon accepting Him within us, regardless of whatever He has determined our future to be:
I TIMOTHY 2
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
KJV .. look up
The faith, charity, holiness and sobriety she celebrates alone are insufficient for Salvation without that all important precondition to overturn Eve in us all yet she praises Him still. And should we all be cast into perdition to be sure we will be praising Him.

My father has asked me to identify any traits I especially would find desirable in a godly husband, and my mother has asked me to ask you if you would offer suggestions for a wedding dress, as we would ask in church, except for the law in 1 Corinthians 14:34, which says, "Let your women keepe silence in the Churches, for it is not permitted vnto them to speake; but they are commanded to bee vnder obedience: as also saith the Law."
Ladies, what would help me obey my husband, as Ephesians 5:22-24 tells me to? Thank you!

Welcome, Sister.
We admire your virtue and thrill at your courage to follow Christ, even in the wilds of barbarian California. I pray you will escape soon.
God Bless!

Glory be! It is always such a refreshing experience to see a young girl casting out the "norms" of women in our ungodly society (such as feminazism, whoring, and leaving the house of their man) and seeking to better herself by following the path that Christ has laid out for us.
I welcome you to our forums and offer you my prayers that you are soon given an opportunity to be fruitful and multiply, and when your little Soldier's of Christ enter upon the world through thy womb, I pray that you will have the draw to set them down the path of a True Christian™(Proverbs 22:3).
Also, if you are in need of a wedding dress, I please let me know and I will call upon my very godly wife to assist you
With Love in Christ,
Prayer Knight

Dear Sister Naomi,
Thank you for the welcome. I admire your desire to help young women like me become a True Christian. My father would like to add that any suggestions are very much desired. There are many women who I hope to learn from, and I am eager to learn. I will keep your hopeful marriage and most of all, His Divine Will, in my prayers.
God bless,
Elizabeth

Re: Introduction
Sister Elizabeth,
Greetings in the name of our sweet Savior! Having been raised by Godly parents myself, I understand your desire to learn as much as possible about being a Christian lady when all around you in that terrible, terrible state is nothing but sin, depravity, and a general disgust for anything holy. Since I am a shining example of young womanhood, it would be my pleasure to mentor you in the ways of Christian servitude.
I would like to point out that there are many virtuous women here, True Christian(TM) women that will exemplify the lifestyle you must live if you are to be pleasing to a future husband and to our Lord. (Praise Him)
I must confess that I have not yet married, which at 24 is terribly difficult for me to admit. However, I am listed on Christian Mingle and the pastors and sisters here are helping me in a quest to find a suitable gentleman for marriage. If the Lord wills, I plan to marry by the end of 2014. If He chooses for me to remain single, then I shall do so while maintaining nothing but praises for His Divine Providence in my life.
I shall add you to my prayer list, dear one! I praise God that you've joined our friendly, welcoming forum.
In Christ Jesus,
NRL

Re: Introduction
Dear Mrs. Etheldreda,
Thank you for your warm, lovely welcome. My most amazing, God-fearing father, is graciously spending his time looking for a good husband for me. He wants me married by the age of 18 to have as many little Soldiers for Christ as possible. I do not have a wedding dress yet, though I would welcome any suggestions.
God bless you!
Elizabeth

Dear Mr. Wally,
Thank you as well for the kind welcome. My father is limiting my internet access to this site, and biblegateway.com. Anything, I must ask him for permission. I have to check for his permission to post any photos or anything else.
In Southern California, there are tiny, ostracized, groups of people who share my family's belief. I hate how the government punished my parents for "child abuse" AKA giving me a well-deserved beating for burning my father's favorite pie.
God bless,
Elizabeth

Praise God! It's so hard to find husbands for old virgins, and He does not bless every old maid with children like He did with Sarah. However, I hope your father is restricting your interweb access to Godly sites like this one. There are lots of sick people out there who would try to trick you into posting a picture of yourself doing something innocuous like, say, sewing or cooking dinner or reading God's Word or reposing in a comfy chair with your bare feet up.
Tell me about it! I am in Boston, which is second only to San Queercisco in the sheer volume of homers, commies and trinket-worshipping Asian boat people.Originally posted by lstark16 View PostI live in Southern California, with far too many liberals, and not enough God-fearing people to help me get to heaven.
As I was thanking the Lord Jesus for bringing you to us, I was touched in a way I can't explain. Perhaps we are here to help each other.
Humbly,
Wally
