apology is rarely needed where atheists are concerned

If you notice his awards, I wouldn't pay too much attention to the grammar where marriage is concerned. Having no moral compass he's just as likely to marry a gibbon but in that case I doubt that the gibbon would consider itself married.

The verse you cite deals with an UNmarried (and unengaged) girl.

Deuteronomy 22:22 "If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel."

First of all, this is NOT a debate forum. We're right and you're wrong, according to Jesus and the Holy Word of God. Please read THIS thread before making an even bigger fool of yourself.

Secondly, while the internets might seem to be "free" to you, this particular corner of the internets is a privately owned Christian forum. The rights you have on this forum are listed HERE. Please contact a Pastor immediately if you feel that any of your rights have been violated.

Finally, your unsaved opinions or tantrums are not even slightly of interest to us. We follow the Holy Word of God TO THE LETTER, and make no apologies for that. One of the most important commandments in the Bible tells us to avoid unsaved scum such as yourself. You wandered in here uninvited, and unwelcome .

If you want to debate people, THIS is the place to go.

    1) I'm atheist. I have never claimed that what the Bible says is true, only that what the Bible says is what the Bible says. Your reading comprehension needs work.

    2) Do a Bible search on the terms "respect God", "love God", and "fear God". The results may surprise you (and educate you as to what God really wants).

...And apparently God only loves those who love him...
That's what the Bible says, yes.

...God can most likely see through your sissy little act...
Great, another "atheist" telling us what God can or can't do, what God wants, etc.

...At least I don't pretend to love God to avoid hell.
There's nothing in the Bible that says it won't work.

Mark 16:16 "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."

Jesus says that you just need to believe (doesn't specify why) and be baptized.

So you don't really love God, you're just scared of hell. You're a little sissy, aren't you? And apparently God only loves those who love him, so you will end up in hell, too. God can most likely see through your sissy little act.

At least I don't pretend to love God to avoid hell.

They're more concerned about keeping the butts in the pews (and the collection plate jingling) than about their parishioner's eternal souls. The same Bible they attempt to hold up for justification says that they're just dragging others down to Hell with them. How's that for hateful?

None of that nonsense at Landover.

    1) I don't put it that way, the Bible does (which you'd know if you read it).

    2) You don't understand Satanism, either. More reading & learning for you to do.

...The way you describe god, I'd much rather worship Satan than the barbaric, evil tyrant you seem to love so much...
Except that anyone who has read the Bible knows that God created Satan, and thus, Satan cannot do anything that God doesn't let him do. Why would you worship the ham-strung creation instead of the Creator?

...What does he do for you? There must be some appeal at least.
There's the "not throwing you into Hell forever for doing exactly as He says" bit.

    .
I know it's all context, it's just when I used to go to church, everyone seems to think that God loves EVERYONE on the planet. I know he was only referring to his chosen people. Every pastor that I've known has always said that God loves everyone no matter what.

Scripture for all the above (and plenty more) available in your Bible; as you've read it, I'll not bother citing.

Psalm 100:5 "For the Lord is good, his mercy is everlasting, and his truth endureth through all generations"
Please read the entire Psalm 100, it has only five verses. Again here, the mercy of God is for those who follow Him.

Psalm 145:9 "The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made."
This psalm was composed by King David, after he slew Philistines. His "all" does not include the men, women, and children who were killed so that God's chosen naton could have land of their own.
