Re: Intervention - Weaning Athiest Kids Off Their Santa Addiction
Harsha, do you know what a 'stable' is? It's a place where the animals live in winter. So of course, there were animals in the stable. The nativity story says nothing of the sort that animals are like us. They are but beasts of the field.
I think there are plenty of Unsaved Trash around here who could be gnats or bed bugs or swine if reincarnation existed, which it doesn't.
I hope you also teach them how Mary and Joseph proceeded from Bethlehem to Jerusalem to sacrifice 2 pigeons for the birth of their son.
...
Ah yes. The only thing that you like about Christmas is making money. You're as bad as the joos. Mooselimb celebrations? They celebrate by beheading Christians!
Yes. I am sorry I offended you, Mr. Farmer. But I must confess that no, I am not explaning the killing. It is after christmas, and on christmas day it is all about the unity of all organisms. As a secular Jainist I am not sure about karma but generally we are thinking that you can become another animal for your next life and they are all our sisters because I could have been a gerbil or a segull during my previous cycle. Yes. It would have been nice to be a white segull. Yes. And the cute christmas story tells us the same thing. We are all one. Tat tvam asi in sanskrit. And yes, many horrible things have been done in the names of jesus and mohammed but the children are doing beautiful things and they are the next generation and wiser than you are me, eh? Yes, they are.
Yes. This is so sad. Children should not be made to fear christmas. No. While I am not a christian woman I am appreciating the holiday season, some days off, everybody is having high spirits. I don't mind telling the children at school about christian traditions. It is such a cute story with the baby and all the animals gathering to greet him. This is also a very useful story to teach about animal welfare. Yes, it is, eh?

Luke 2:21-24 21 And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called Jesus, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb. 22 And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord; 23 (As it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord) 24 And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.
I am not celebrating christmas at home, though. But I am seeing that more and more people in UK wish to have good food for the holidays and they come to the shop of my cousin to buy Indian take-asay. Yes.

Our traditions are merging. Yes, they are! It is beautiful. I think it is non-violence to respect the christian traditions of christmas with father christmas and the stockings and the beautiful star on top of the tree. Yes. In the same manner, I am explaining ramadan when our moslem children celebrate it. Yes. And some of the christian children have tried fasting from sunrise to dusk with their moslem friends. So beautiful! Merry christmas everyone from Harsha! Yes!

I don't believe there are any True Christians in Scotland, so this can presumably do no harm. It even sounds like a good idea if it shifts some of the lard they are carrying as a result of their usual diet of haggis in batter and deep-fried Mars bars. So well done, Miss Shah.
Good times? I spent my whole childhood in fear that I would get a sack of coal from Santa. I had no idea what I would do with a sack of coal (we never had a coal fire). That threat is nothing less than child abuse. And bribery. Children should be taught to love Jesus and fear the consequences if they don't. None of this Santa bribery stuff

It's called childhood, my parents made me believe santa was real when i was a kid , that's because they wanted me to be happy lol, funny good times.
People always use the excuse "It's all fun and games for the children". I didn't realize lying to children was "fun". Many don't realize that they're starting a cycle of detrimental behavior that will continue for generations.
Your first sin is committed when you LIE to these children, saying that this fellow in a red suit exists, and you are in turn teaching your children that's okay to lie for the sake of. The Word is very clear when it comes to liars. Leviticus 19:11
You shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.
Proverbs 12:22
Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.
Then this lie is repeated EVERY YEAR until the child gets older, and one of their buddies tell them that Santa doesn't exist (which the Lord says was inevitable; bound to happen at any moment). Luke 8:17
For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.
The child is then HURT by your lies, and here is what the Lord says about hurting children. Matthew 18:6
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
Luke 17:2
It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
To prevent yourself, and possibly your children for repeating this cycle, from burning in Hell, I'd suggest just dropping this addiction altogether.

Re: Intervention - Weaning Athiest Kids Off Their Santa Addiction
The Santa/Satan connection is obvious. Why, there is only a tiny shuffling of the letter n to change the name. Santa is always seen dressed in red, and red is the color of Satan's fiery hide. Not only that, older names for each continue to show they are one and the same. Santa has been called "Jolly Old Saint Nick" while another name for Satan during the 1600's was "Old Nick"
Intervention - Weaning Athiest Kids Off Their Santa Addiction
These kids are hooked! They have been fed a ridiculous fairytale about a semi-benevolent mythical being who rewards good kids with gifts, and sadistically punishes the naughty kids by holding back such gifts. These poor, idiot children blindly accept that this being has the power to monitor their every move, and will either reward or punish them based on their behavior! Sick!! And their parents are actually pushing this dope on their own children! Sicker yet!
How to help kids detox from narcoticlaus? Simple:
1. When no parents are present, convince them they have a problem and need help. Santa is fake, Jesus is real...help them see the difference.
2. Tell them that only Jesus can help them kick the Santa habit.
3. Convince them to choose Christ and reject Satan Claus, or Jesus will put them on a naughty list the likes of which they have never known. Ask them if they would really like to receive the worm that dieth not as a "stocking stuffer".
4. Help them do a "moral inventory". They are naughty and deserve to be punished, guide them to this understanding. They are born scum, but Jesus can change this...not Santa.
5. Convince them them to announce their Santa problem in front of a group of peers...a little public humiliation goes a long way...
6. Etc.
This modified 12 Step program is a WIP, feel free to amend or add to it as you please. Let's help these pathetic urchins learn the difference between fact and fiction!
