Re: Don't Invite Some Poor Person to Christmas Dinner

Christmas is the time of year when people make bad judgments. We at LBC want to remind people not to make socialists out of poor people. They need to learn their problems are of their own making and the rest of us are not going to bail them out.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

So, I tried to read this, and I couldn't. So I can only assume you are saying death to terrorists, which is a good thing!

And you think Jesus would approve of making poor people into socialists? The money changers in the Temple were operating under the Temple's governing rules. Jesus knocked over the table took a whip to the socialists. Read your Bible.

Giving poor people the rewards traditionally reserved for hard workers and job creators is why we can't have nice things anymore. Studies show that poor people get angry enough to foam at the mouth when they can't have everything they want after having had a taste of handouts. Besides, Democrats have conspired to enlist the poor to slaughter Christians and make practicing our faith illegal. Jesus doesn't want His Beloved People to be slaughtered in the streets. That's reserved for the unbelievers come His Glory (Revelation 14:19-20; Revelation 19:15; 21).

              That's hardly a compelling reason.

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! People who are poor and unkept will not be helped by a free Christmas dinner. What they need is motivation to earn more and buy their own presents and Christmas turkey. Why would they bother to get a job if they can mooch off of someone else?

Christmas is the time we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Let's all pledge to keep it a Holy holiday and not mix in street trash.

What if you all met up and went to the poor man's house for a change? You could drive there, pick up some nice food on the way, some good wine, small gifts. He could get his friends in and you could meet them too.

That way they'd all meet you but not know where you lived. They could ask you, though.

Thanks, Mr. Fag, but no thanks. There is no one fitting your description in Freehold. Outside of Freehold I would not eat in an unclean home where drunk people might be carrying loaded weapons.

Over and above that, a poor person needs to learn he cannot count of a free meal from his Mayor or anyone else.

Re: Don't Invite Some Poor Person to Christmas Dinner

People thrive under extreme conditions. Would Tom Brady played in the Canadian football association, he would not become the greatest athlete on Earth (let alone, being Donald's BFF)

                    For example:

Psalms 34:6 - This poor man cried, and the LORD heard [him], and saved him out of all his troubles.

So if you invite a poor to your house for dinner, he will not cry. And he will not be put under the extreme conditions necesary to break down an adult to tears. So God will not hear that, and the poor will be having all the problems he had, except for one meal in your house. A typical situation of good intentions against yelding very bad results.

Job 29:12 - Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and [him that had] none to help him.

So again the poor needs to be broken down, both psychologically and physically (meaning, tears!) in order to be helped by God. And now we add: no one has to help him in order to be helped by God. So if you are helping him, you are preventing him from God's help! What a bad person you become!

Of course, this shows your actual lack of faith in God. Which means you are probably going to Hell.

Proverbs 14:21 - He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy [is] he.

What does Proverbs 14:21 mean then? What is to be merciful with the poor?

Of course, it means to let them break down so God can be sure is time to assist them. The socialists are getting in the way. Are we going to let them? No, of course not.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.

It's because you're an unsocialized idiot who can't understand that others will not accept what he says just because he said it.

How DARE you say this. Your ignorance makes me sick. The reason people help the poor is that they had rougher life's. They aren't as well off as you and this could be for many reasons. Poor childhood, parents weren't well off too, no family members, and many other reasons. Most of the time it isn't their fault! This is why we help them. Look in the new testament with Jesus. He helps the poor, the weak, the sick, anyone. You are just greedy pigs. Try to read the bible again. You didn't seem to learn much when you first read it.

That sounds like a good start - now I'm expecting the rest of your post to be intellectually iluminating.
The reason people help the poor is that they had rougher life's.
The sentence structure makes the meaning rather inconclusive: who had rougher lives? The ones who help, versus the ones who don't help? Or the ones who are being helped?

They aren't as well off as you and this could be for many reasons.
The only important reason being: God wanted it this way.
Poor childhood, parents weren't well off too, no family members, and many other reasons. Most of the time it isn't their fault!
That makes no sense. God says that poor people are lazy bums who deserve to be poor:

Proverbs 10:4 He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

In fact, being rich is the best sign that God loves and blesses us:

Proverbs 10:22 The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

Those whom God does not bless stay poor. Why would I want to help someone whom God Himself despises?

Look in the new testament with Jesus. He helps the poor, the weak, the sick, anyone.
He also hanged out with tax collectors, who were definitely closer to 1% than to the 99%.

                                You are just greedy pigs.
Whoa, where did that come from? Did you know that lying will send you to Hell?

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Try to read the bible again. You didn't seem to learn much when you first read it.
Well, at least we read it, while you seem to be quite ignorant about the contents of it. I will pray for you.
God created fossils to test our faith.
