Last year, my group went around town and sang a number of WBC's tunes. "Santa Claus Will Take You to Hell" was the most popular. Why, when we stopped at another church's pot luck and sang it, the congregation was so overcome with joy that they applauded by offering us milk and cookies!

I think they were a little over-excited, though. In their eagerness, they didn't pour the milk into glasses, but just tossed those little half-pint containers down to us. Some of them threw the cookies a little too hard. It took Widow Helen two days to extricate a chocolate chip from her ear. (Don't tell her I told you about that, OK? ) And I'm not sure why they tried to give little Katie Williamson a plate of spaghetti. She was dressed all in white, like a little angel. Ruined her outfit.
