I have to wonder, 'Silly Sam' (if that is your real name, seems suspicious), why you used the thread title you did. Are you tring to equate the birth of your worthless daughter to that of the Almighty Christ?

I apologize for not having a son. We tried really hard and I promise that my next child will be a boy. This girl has a lot of learning to do. Especially when it comes to listening to the men God has put in this world

This is probably what God thinks to himself as he watches the sinners scramble around on Earth like ants, so far below. It hurts God when we sin, because he did not make us to do that.

I am very happy you have a healthy and happy new little Christian(tm) to love! Congratulations!

As Brother Wide-Open says, "You have my commiserations." Such a disappointment not to produce a son. I would do your best next time as God says that your husband may make use of your maid to father a child.
Labor was extremely painful and I couldnt believe that something so small could cause so much pain.
For which you can blame your ancestor, Eve,

Ge:3:16: Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

That being said, you may also be Saved™ 1Tm:2:14: And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
1Tm:2:15: Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

Did Mary go through all this excrutiating pain during childbirth?
Absolutely, all women do. (And despite there being 6 Billion of us on the planet all of whom came that way, women still make a song and dance of it!)
