First, just let me say that you got the flag wrong. That is the flag of Norway. Not Iceland. Now, let me break down these ridiculous points you make one by one.

1. Actually, just a little over 10% of Icelanders claim to be atheists. The rest are mostly Christians. And there are actually two Baptist Churches in Iceland. The Emmanuel Baptist Church (Emmanúels Baptistakirkjan), and the First Baptist Church (Fyrsta Baptista Kirkja). Two might not sound like much, but remember that Iceland has a smaller population than Wyoming (the least populated US state). Pagans are a very tiny minority in Iceland.
2. While there is ice in Iceland, Iceland is not "mostly ice". Glaciers cover about 11% of the country.
3. The Icelandic economy collapsed mostly due to the collapse of it's three major banks, which was caused by a few greedy bankers that are now ostracized. You could say that God caused all of this, but in that case, he completely failed to send the message across that he was the one punishing them, and the reasons for the punishment.
4. Oh, and does America have better celebrities? Like Paris Hilton? Blaming a whole country for the actions of one is ridiculous.
5. Icelanders generally believe in equal rights. If I'm not mistaken, Americans pride themselves on that too.
6. Iceland does not have an army because there is no need for an army in Iceland. Jesus was a pacifist, so I don't understand why you would have such a negative view of pacifism.
7. As I said earlier, Icelanders generally believe in equal rights. Oppressing minorities is frowned upon in Iceland, as in most parts of the world.
8. This is a completely baseless over-generalization of Icelanders, and far from being the first on this thread. Satanists are an even smaller minority than Pagans, which are less than half a percent.
9. Why would Christians be offended at the glorification of one of God's creations? Show some of appreciation to the penis. After all, if it weren't for the penis, none of you would be here.

On a sidenote, there are no Inuits (what you call Eskimos) in Iceland.

My conclusion is that this thread is based on plain ignorance of the Republic of Iceland and almost everything connected to it.

Since Jesus had nothing good to say about Iceland, neither have I.

But let’s try to act like reasonable people here. Do we have any conclusive that is Biblical data about this pesky Icelandic issue? Not that I would know; substantially, it’s a moot point, a matter of various opinions and speculations.

First of all the flag is the Norwegian flag. The Icelandic flag has the same colors but in different areas. I'm not posting you a link to it because you would not be able to follow it.

If you knew anything about history you would know that Christianity was accepted as religion in Iceland in the year 1000, 492 years before Cristobal Colon (whom Americans refer to as Christopher Columbus). Icelanders are mostly Lutheran.

Yes, we are very bad in that respect. We have respect for human lives and human dignity, something you apparently do not know or understand. We support our weak and help our elderly to have a decent life when they have put in decades of hard work to support the youngs. I seem to recall that Jesus wanted the weak to be treated and the elderly be treated well and with respect.

Through the dark ages the almighty Church persecuted and killed hundreds of thousands of women for practicing witchcraft. That same craze hit Iceland and hundreds of women were killed in one of the worst sexist persucution in the history of human kind. The Church was so hell bent on killing women that no stone was left unturned in the efforts to torture, kill and persecute innocent people. What has the church done to turn their eyes away from the devil and accept the role of women in the life that God created? Instead the church has kept their Satantic rituals and persecution agains women for almost two thousand years. How does that compare?
