i'm slightly surprised none of you realized the "viking" posters were completely joking about the whole "follow the edda sagas". And the sagas are not boring, they're part of Icelandic history because they chronicle important people in our early history. Sure they make reference to pagan gods and godesses, but how is that any different from putting "In God We Trust" on the dollar bill. Not everyone in America is Christian, our founding fathers just happened to be Christian. Also a little fun fact, we were two votes away from having our national language actually be German here in the US. You really should lighten up in regards to "everyone is going to hell in Iceland" because it makes you sound like intolerant scumbags.

PS, there really is no ice in Iceland except in the middle where there's one big glacier. The first settlers named the country Iceland to discourage other tribes from settling down here. The natural beauty of the country is astonishing and the colors are amazingly beautiful.

(last one is really funny) The first documentary really reflects on how ignorant and cruel those ''true beliver'' christans are. f.x. telling young kids that they will burn in hell if they don't obey some ghost. to cause fear and anxiety is one of the popular ways for Christians like you to make people believe your arrogant bullshit. remarkable that it should have been people like you who made me think twice. actually, Ingolfur Arnarson was the first settler. He first settled in Reykjavik which does not get any snow until october. and i don't really care about the german thing, i was taught this in class in the United States. I learned a lot of things in the US, like not everyone there is as ignorant as you seem to be. and it is pretty pointless for anyone outside of your church trying to tell you anything besides Jesus is the best and everyone who doesn't believe so will burn in hell, it's still worth the laugh when i read your posts. so have a good life, i'm pretty satisfied with mine.

The Bible was written in Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic. Get you facts straight, you ignoramus.

English IS God's favorite language though, as he has made that the language of the perfect version of the Bible, the King James Authorized 1611, and has made it the most widely spoken language in all of history.
