Incorrect. When Australia was discovered, people of England were asked whether they wanted to live in a new land. Prisoners that were sent to Australia were not let free, they continued their prison sentence after they arrived in Australia.

Right. And that's just for a city, not a nation. Australia probably has 4 or 5 cities, so there would need to be about 50 righteous people for it to be spared. Not very likely.
