Janet is a girls name for a girl. Most queers do use a girls name so it is possible a queer could themselves Janet. I guess you only meet queers called Janet.

You're probably mistaking the word "Jeanine" for Janet...
In Dutch, a 'janet' is a very feminine guy... while Jeanine is just another name... :-)

Janet and Jeanine are both girls names.
