  • What should I do, ladies?

Sister Vogleschauser is 73 years old and drinks three bottles of wine every day. She was headed for Macy’s today and fell down three flights of stairs in her walk up apartment building.

She was fine but instead of going to Macy’s she called another woman she knows from St. Agatha’s Church of the Holy Rosary of Mary and they went to a bar near me. Now they are ringing my door buzzer expecting me to get them home safely and this is the third time it’s happened. I want to show Christian love but am I wrong to be righteously indignant? I know the papist one will be out of her mind drunk and she will utter blasphemous sayings the entire time.

    What would you do?
    Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
    Amen and Amen

      Irish and Catholic. Dreadful.

I'm reluctant to impose any recommendation, as "Sister" suggests to me that she she could be a nun. A simple papist may well be deluded or deceived (but not necessarily in that order) but nuns are more glutinously committed. They study enough to know what God desires, I'd have thought, but then do something else.

click on either graphic for more detail if required (such as of footwear or the egshell tiara)

Which of the depicted styles more closely resembles your Irish friends? You didn't say they were both Irish but they presumably are. Perhaps then I'd be better able to suggest something.

One is a German. She even speaks that germanish language. The Irish one is definitely not a nun. When she’s drunk she talks about those bitch penguins that smacked her hands with a ruler all the time. She thinks her rosary keeps evil spirits away and never leaves without it. I hope someone can help as they have been passed out on the sidewalk for two days. Someone gave them water. They still keep calling up to me. I’ve been going out the back way to avoid them.

There would have been little point, Sister Mitza, as by that time the woman had been out there almost 24 hours. Brother Larry, have you not called Homeland Security? Dealing with suspected German spies must be part of their remit.
What's the weather like in New York? Because if it's cold enough, another 24 hours should solve the problem without any need for action.

Re: What should I do, ladies?

It's Brother Larry I'm starting to worry about. Germans and Irishes probably can't do much about their respective (but different) conditions. Some people have such a strong delusion about the world or their function within it that you'd think there was extra retarding force operating. As always I look for the Christian perspective and here it was easy to find. Isaiah was the first Biblical text I read all the way through (I was about 7 or 8) and I took notes. As a result I've always found it easy to remember God's comments on abomination, many of which dear to German and Irish hearts were covered.

              ISAIAH 66
              1
Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
5 Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

It's easy to say, "Oh it's not their fault – they can't help it," but God is clear here. They chose their own ways and find abominations delightful. That is a choice. It would be possible to advance out of the quagmire by acknowledging God's voice and trembling at His word. Surely, given the benefits of Eternal Life and of sins forgiven, it's a no-brainer? UNLESS – and it's a big unless – a retarding force had been applied.

How long does anyone remain in a room once drunken Germans turn up? Long enough to hear anything they have to say? No. And the Irish when pickled to the gills are even less intelligible! Hence my concern.

That level of familiarity with conversation topics from either group suggests a considerable time in their company. It's as though an opinion is taking root that maybe they can help it. That would be an opinion that contradicts God and almost certainly a cross-contamination of popish ideation, if it were true, which I hope it is not, but let's face it who would voluntarily endure such babble to such an extent? Not only to decipher the words themselves but actual content? I know I couldn't. I'm going to make a prayer request for delusions not to migrate across the language barrier in this case.

There's a factor that existing consumers consist of I am looking for a trophy wife and I need Bentley and Vogue. Can you pray for Jesus to supply this?

Re: What should I do, ladies?

You seem to be running time backwards. Quite apart from the idolatrous nature of your prayer requests..
Colossians 3:2-6 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence and covetousness, which is idolatry: for which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience

..it's worth remembering that YOU choose your abominations (and The Bible is clear you're not unique in this) but GOD chooses your delusions. I've already posted relevant Scripture the salient verse being Isaiah 66:4 but the real situation here is Vogue (not a Christian publication) and Bentley. And the fact that you seem to be praying for concupiscent attributes in an already existing partner for whose actuality you yearned somewhat later on? That is: 4 minutes later.

WARNING - DEMON POSSESSION IN FULL FLIGHT

Time does not run backwards. Satan wants you to think it's possible and his demons are well manifest in that clip which I'd urge you not to watch. Broided hair, excessive ornamentation, convulsions and yearning for the unattainable is the hallmark of devils and my only prayer is for you to be released. Please contact one of the Pastors with your partner (if there is one) for further advice.
