There are people, celebs, who are giving us an upclose look at how gay marriage destroys Christian Marriage.

A couple come to mind, Larry King and Elizabeth Taylor. By my calculations, gay marraige has caused 17 of their various marriages to fail.

(OK, Larry is not a Christian. But it just goes to show that Gay Marriage destroys Jew marriages too.)

At lease gay people make an effort to try and get married, unlike many heterosexual couples that move in with each other before they're married. Shouldn't you people at least be happy for that? Also, I highly doubt a gay couple getting married is going to affect all heterosexual couples. As long as they aren't trying to make it so only gay people can get married, I don't see what the problem is.

Show me in the Bible where the Lord specificly says they can't. The truth is, most of the Bible is extremly mistranslated and a lot of the stuff only pertains to that time period. Most of the time when the Bible uses the word homosexual, it's actually talking about prostitutes. Do some research before you reply and give me a bunch of verses that are mistranslated and mean something completly different than what they say.

Show me in the Bible where the Lord specificly says they can't. The truth is, most of the Bible is extremly mistranslated and a lot of the stuff only pertains to that time period. On the topic of homosexuals and the Bible, there is no Hebrew word for homosexual. The word homosexual wasn't even around until about the 1800s. When the Bible says homosexual, it is refering to a young boy who had sex with older men for money. Did the boy have sex with men because he was a homosexual? No. He did it for money. In some cases, homosexual refers to people who worshiped a certain pagan god and part of their ritual involved having sex with members of the same sex. They weren't doing this because they were gay, but because it was part of that ritual.

This thread is about gay people and gay marriage. Gay is a slang word for homosexual, is it not? Therefore, I will be stuck on the word homosexual as long as I want to be.
