Code violations do not go un-noticed

I have noticed a variety of building code violations recently. These kinds of problems are addressed in the municipal code and should be corrected as quickly as is convenient (i.e. now).

Take this wall, for example. It was not built strong enough to withstand any type of collision, and you can see the result. This damage has been exposed for months. It's an eyesore, plus, imagine what's going to happen when the rains and floods return?

A comply with code order was filed for this residence. If they don't fix it within 20 days, they face fines, too.

Here's another residence that has structural failure. It's obvious that this fence has been leaning for decades. Who knows what will cause it to finally topple upon some helpless children on their way to school?

This residence was also notified for code violations. It might take them a bit longer to build a retaining wall to keep back that dirt, but they have no choice; the wall cannot be left as is.

This is a good notice to you residents who haven't had a visit from the code enforcement team. Please survey your property for possible violations or safety hazards, and correct them as quickly as is convenient. That will make our work that much easier.

    Deuteronomy 22

8 When thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that thou bring not blood upon thine house, if any man fall from thence.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Re: Code violations do not go un-noticed

Overgrown weeds and cars without current registration are violations of the municipal code and the vehicle code. This property has been getting worse and worse and I finally had to report them for the overgrowth and for the vehicle that hasn't been run or registered since 2002.

Even if they own the property they are still required to keep it looking respectable. Letting everything go to seed is totally unacceptable.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

It saddens my heart to see good neighborhoods go to shambles because of disgraceful and lazy heathens.
Gather around so that I can read to you from my book of TRUTH. Genesis thru Revelations....Pick one!

Luke 12:5- But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

        THAT is in Freehold?!

I'm glad I live in North Salem, where ALL the people are Godly, not just a percentage of residents.
