Indeed, and Ofc. Don does enforce laws. The ruling body relies on folks like him to do so.

Resisting power would essentially mean resisting those who enforce it, as few of us who aren't pastors have the ability to speak directly to those in office and resist them.

Being subject to someone's authority as an enforcer of the law created by others is not the same as being "his subjects".
