Italian man granted divorce after claiming wife 'possessed by devil'

Silly Papists. They should have just sent the woman into her special hut when she was acting crazy.

Italian man granted divorce after claiming wife 'possessed by devil'

An Italian man has been granted a divorce after claiming that his wife was "possessed by the devil".

The woman had exhibited "inexplicable behaviour" since 2007, including fits, stiffening, and other "unusual phenomena", a Milan court heard. Her husband attributed the episodes to "demonic possession".

Her sister, as well as a priest and a Capuchin monk confirmed the strange behaviour, testifying that the woman - a devout Catholic - had at one point knocked over a church pew, hurling it towards the altar using just one hand.

Witnesses even claimed to have seen her levitate, before falling to the ground.

The Milan court tribunal acknowledged that the woman was "clearly agitated" but said she "did not act knowingly", according to Il Corriere della Sera daily..........

Demon possession is confirmed by Jesus. He never said "Oh, that's not demon possession that's a psychiatric disorder!" Jesus did know about lunacy and disease:
    MATTHEW 4 . KJV . look up
    23
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
24 And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

Many behaviours resulting from possession by devils are described throughout history. They are still the same today. If there were no demon possession, how could Jesus cast out the demons?

Without knowing more about this particular situation it's hard to make a judgment here. For example, was this behavior exhibited on a periodic monthly basis or was it continuous?

I don't believe that the cathylicks were ever enlightened enough to use Baptist menstra shacks to solve these "monthly" problems. There could have been a lot of tragedy avoided over the centuries - and perhaps those Salem "witches" were just having problems with their "monthly" hormones.

Some time ago, one of the popes attempted an exorcism:
THE Pope carried out an impromptu exorcism on a teenage girl after she began "screaming insults in a cavernous voice" during an audience in the Vatican City, it emerged at the weekend.

Despite the Pope's efforts and those of his chief "Satan-buster", Fr Gabriele Amorth, the girl remained "possessed". The Devil's voice "sneeringly laughed from within her" at the Pope's failed attempt to drive him away. "The Devil went to the Vatican," the Il Messaggero newspaper in Rome reported after being told of the incident by Fr Amorth. He said the exorcism had been the Pope's third in his 22-year papacy.

The result was a foregone conclusion - how can the anti-Christ cast out the anti-Christ? How can the mother of whoredoms evict its own minions?

All that has happened is that those devils have been driven deeper into the soul of the unfortunate woman.... I say that, and the woman is said to be "Catlick" too - so who is to know who's lying - they probably all are.
