  • The Bible Has Been Banned in America!

    My dear, dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, it breaks my heart to share with you this grievous attack on Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

    It has come to my attention that the Holy Word of God, the Bible itself, has been banned in the Great State of Texas, the largest and most populous state in what was--until January 20, 2021--our Great Nation, the United States of America.

    I do not know how Senator Ted Cruz and Governor Greg Abbott allowed this to happen. (Well, I can understand about Abbott. He is in a wheelchair, which speaks sadly to the weak standard of his faith.) These men were supposed to be the guardians of our Christian Values. Why else did the people of Texas elect them?

    Obviously, this matter must be met with contemplative thought and prayer. But in this matter, (and only this matter), thoughts and prayers are not enough. Jesus exhorts us to action. We must put all our strength and a carefully considered fraction* of our fortune into redressing this unacceptable wrong.

    The Legislators and/or Board Members involved in banning God's Word from the public venue must be brought to Justice. This decision must be reversed and monies made available to buy a Bible for every library that has been stripped of this vital resource.

    And it needs to be a beautiful Bible--large, well annotated, with those pretty silk ribbons attached to use as bookmarks. Above all else, it needs to be the King James Version. All the other ones can be burned. I understand that wood ash has some value as fertilizer.

    Our Godly leaders in Texas, Cruz and Abbott, have disappointed me too, Sister Handy. I know it's a huge state and the size makes it hard to stamp out sin everywhere. But are they even making an effort?

    Take Austin, for example. The homer population there has been allowed to grow so much the otherwise conservative Chamber of Commerce has an official branch devoted exclusively the homers. Now homers and sinners in Texas are trying to eliminate the Bible--this must stop.

      Oh, my word! Gays in Texas! What part of "Don't Mess With Texas" don't they understand?

      Or maybe they were lured by that other well-known phrase, "Everything is bigger in Texas."

        Why in the hell did a school in Texas have a French language graphic novel of Anne Frank's diary? Were the parts where the little Jewess rat talks about menstruation illustrated? How about the parts where she has erotic fantasies about other pubescent girls? No wonder they tossed that perverted Jew filth on the fire. The Holocaust did not happen, though I wish it had. But banning the Bible? Who would dare? Probably the Jews. Texans need to rise up and chase that liberal school board out of the state. They've got plenty of lassos down there in cowboy country. Just loop 'em over some sturdy tree branches, that would do the trick.
        I was sinking deep in sin far from the peaceful shore,
        Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more;
        But the Master of the Sea heard my despairing cry,
        From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!
