  • Sweden failed to protect animal testers

The pharmaceutical company Astra Zeneca have fired 1200 scientists in Sweden. The official explanation is that they need to cut costs, which might be true. It is however a multinational corporation, with thousands or employees in several countries, so it makes sense to ask: why Sweden?

Pharmaceutical researchers have two types of enemies: animal rights terrorists and scientologists (because neuroscience is involved). Animal rights terrorism became an issue since the abolishment of corporal punishment, and scientology have corrupted the society on all levels.
The reason that the downsizing happen in Sweden and not elsewhere is because the government failed to protect the researchers. The primary duty of a government is to protect individual rights, including property rights.

I am not defending the pharmaceutical industry in any way. Just exposing one example of the social decay that happen when corporal punishment is banned.
