  • Jesus is Pleased When Rich Parents Bribe College Officials

It makes me angry to see the press piling on rich families who bribe college officials to allow their children into elite universities. These families are giving money to those who have less, just as Jesus told us to do in Matthew 6:20. Jesus never said, "Make sure your children are poor."

For example, some rich parents paid the soccer coach at UCLA money to list their daughter as a soccer recruit. Coaches can bring in recruits who have low high school grades and would otherwise not be admitted to UCLA. The daughter had never played soccer and never will. But, the coach had less money than the parents so it fits Jesus' parable.

This country needs more rich children in college, not fewer. And, when it pleases Jesus, all the better.

Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Mr. Mayor, your wisdom is deep as usual. Does the Bible itself not say:

    Luke 1:46-56
The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up. He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them.

This tells us that God "maketh" the rich (note: that's not a gay lisp, just the way they talked those days) and He maketh the poor. It's ultimately God who decides who gets into Stanford so if you got there via the curling team then God would have chosen this path for you regardless of your parents' donation to the discretionary fund.

    James 2:2-3
For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool

This tells us those that "weareth the gay clothing" (note: this means rich people, not gay people) should sit in a good place (i.e. elite universities) and the poor should stand (i.e. suck it up) or sit at the footstool (i.e. serve the rich). Clear as day.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

Only so many students can go to any one particular college. Because of liberal cucks, a portion of these enrollments are partitioned off and given to members of the lesser races (in particular the negro) who could never have hoped to make the cut even at the bottom of the list even if the total number of admissions was multiplied by ten. By bribing university administrators, these celebrities managed to bump a few uppity blacks off the list, and hopefully into the sanitation and menial labor positions for which God in His wisdom intended them (Genesis 9:20-27). Thus these celebrities' actions were Godly, and their persecution and prosecution is yet another example of liberal cuckoldry and anti-white bigotry.

People have been giving money to colleges since colleges started begging for money which was probably right when they invented colleges. I don't see what the big deal is. Do you think college is Run for free?
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

OMG! It's so funny because it's so true! Only in the most primitive, backward cultures in the world do communities take collective responsibility for educating and passing knowledge to the next generation - remember that hilarious old-fashioned phrase "It takes a village to raise a child". Ha ha just NO!

Child rearing is competitive and the stakes are high. Why would you teach some kid how to repair his bicycle when you can teach the kid's father a valuable lesson in you-should-make-more-money-so-you-can-afford-someone-to-drive-your-kid-around. And I'll report that broken bicycle as abandoned trash littering the sidewalk... 2 free lessons for the price of 1.

Excellent point, Dr. Toole. The destruction of the Godly family unit is one of the key aspects of godless communism.

This grotesque image should tell us all we need to know about that insidious phrase:

We all know that America's colleges have been taken over by the Godless communists - spewing forth their vile venom against Jesus. It shouldn't surprise anyone that these colleges have found a way for the Hellywood elite to share their wealth.

Here is a case in point. Liberal Yale University courted a wealthy couple who donated $1 million. It turned out the couple has a daughter who was rejected for admission. Yale wisely changed its mind and admitted her.

Now, long after an honest business deal was completed, Yale is kicking out their daughter. Where is justice? A deal is a deal. Yale does not want $1 million dollars?

There need to be some moral standards here. When couple pays $1 million they deserve to have their daughter admitted.

For all I know, those rich parents could easily send their sons and daughters to Landover University, for a million dollars they could get addmitted!

Here's a New York Times article which has it's talking points straight: (Don't worry, I didn't link directly to the Newspaper of Vile Darkness).
                    • Complaining about corruption is class war! Class war! Class war!
                    • Rhetorical human shielding: "You're attacking the kids"
                    • Make certain to use the word "accused" - this isn't men being accused of being horny decades ago, so due process still exists in this case.
                    • Something something "instinct taking over" and other polite ways of saying the ambitious middle-class overachievers who lost opportunities to corruption are a primal, savage mob of cavemen. The rabble should cool down and allow their social betters to handle this. Hush, the grown-ups are talking.
                    • Blabber a lot about whatever, leaving the illusion that the issue has been talked to death (without actually covering anything important.)

Here is a tear jerker for you. TV star Lori Loughlin is waiting to be indited for bribing her daughter's way into a prestigious university.

The link below tells of her suffering. This Christian woman is enduring the crisis by having lunch with friends, going to yoga, keeping physically fit and relying on her faith. She is an inspiration to Christian women everywhere.

It appears she may have to do some time in jail. What an injustice. She was merely paying more for something very scarce. That's what happens when a rare painting is sold. Spots in prestigious universities are like rare paintings, we have to pay extra to buy them. Why should anyone go to jail for practicing capitalism?

Lori thought it was legal to $500,000 so her daughter could go to the school of her choice. Why would anyone think otherwise:
"The "Full House" actress, who reportedly still isn't ready to make a plea in college admissions scandal, "didn't see it as being a legal violation."

This principle that deals with others can be made when the facts at hand are not comfortable is a good one for many circumstances besides college admissions. One of our favorite pastors, Rev Robert Morris, attempted this when he did not want information about sexual activities with a child made public. By this time she was an adult and he offered her as much money as she wanted if she would not reveal certain details about what he did earlier in her life.

She declined and went public. Now, he is being criticized for simply trying to make a business deal. Why are the do-gooders making such a big thing over this?

I think the do-gooders disparagingly call it "Catch and Kill". If you can't use money to buy things, there's no point explaining to others how important it is for them to work hard to get some of it. That's what this is really about - workshy socialists looking to catch a free ride. Innovators find ways to do things, for example, intermural water polo, saving Western civilization, etc. Cheaters and union scum find ways to block them. It is ever thus.
