  • A sister city candidate

I know the Mayor has long been looking for a suitable town to pair with Landover for the purpose of promoting cultural and commercial ties. There were rumors Pyongyang was being lined up but that proposal seems to have got tied up in committee. There were also doubts whether Landover should be so closely associated with the chinks.

Today after reading about the death of South African President FW De Klerk I learned of a town called Orania, which is an Afrikaner-only town on the dark continent created after apartheid ended because of fears about “diluting culture”.

The town boasts amenities such as shops, hair salons, a library, a post office, a hotel, a couple of schools – and churches, a lot of churches.

Prospective residents are screened by the town council using a strict criterion, which includes first and foremost being an ethnic Afrikaner.

The locals explain that one of the goals in Orania is to help create a generation of pure Afrikaners untouched by the “outside world”.

“I see nothing wrong with apartheid,” says Martin Kemp, one of the older residents. “Of course you get the petty apartheid: ‘You use this toilet I use that toilet’, I don’t think that was necessary but the real apartheid as Dr Verwoerd saw it, there was nothing wrong with it,” he said.
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

Thank you, Dr. Toole. This really has potential. Even though this branch of Christianity is a bit on the liberal side for Freehold, I think we could work them them. We could have white only exchanges with the usual gifts and speeches about friendship.

I'm going to look into this.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Apartheid certainly is a wonderful idea, which is surely why God gave the races their own continents. Those white people need to leave Africa so we can send all our own blacks back there. North America rightfully belongs to its original inhabitants, the White Man. Personally, I think Freehold should look into partnering with Kabul.

I've never met one, but I've heard South Africans are nice people.

I've traveled this old world of ours from Barnsley to Peru,
I've had sunshine in the arctic and a swim in Tinbuktu,
I've seen unicorns in Burma and a Yetti in Nepal,
And I've danced with ten foot pygmies in a Montezuma hall,
I've met the King of China and a working Yorkshire miner -
But I've never met a nice South African.

If these oranian guys move to America, would they be called "african americans"?

No, the SJWs wouldn't allow it. Immigrants from the non-Negro African nations of Egypt, Algeria, Libya, Tunisia, Morocco, Mauritania, Sudan, and Mauritius would also be denied the label of African American, because apparently the only African Americans are a bunch of mongrelized coons who've never set foot in Africa in their lives and probably couldn't even find it on a map.

I was a little disturbed by that ... surely the culture is that they have coloreds to serve them?

              And then there is this:
The people do their own work from gardening to plumbing, bricklaying and waste-collection – jobs usually done by Black labourers in the rest of the country.
It seems to me that the people would have little time develop spiritually. Who would bring the mint-juleps onto the veranda at sundown?

              And this:
It is an Afrikaner-only town, where only Afrikaans is spoken,
What can we make of a people whose Bibles begin.
"1. In die begin het God die hemel en die aarde geskape.
2 En die aarde was woes en leeg, en duisternis was op die wêreldvloed, en die Gees van God het gesweef op die waters"?
The only words you can understand are "God" and "waters". The Lord alone knows what they think Jesus said... I can only imagine how fellowshipping would work.

Well there's always Mitchell, South Dakota. I know Mayor Everson has been bugging JohnyJoeHold for years about sending youngsters over there. They do have some cultural stuff I guess. An Opportunity to Learn Fine Art

By coincidence, I was just visiting with Mayor Bobby of Mitchell today. He was disappointed the chartered plane of art students from the Louvre in Paris had not worked out. He had been pitching that to art people there for months. Mayor Bobby knew from the start they might not come through because Mitchell would represent competition. And, there is the preference in the Louvre for porn, pictures and sculptures of naked women. Mayor Bobby will have none of that.
