By now everyone has heard about a minor innocent in upstate New York where a white fella shot some people including a few Blacks. Everyone is making a fuss, even though--generally speaking--White people don't kill Black people, Blacks do.

Anyway, it turns out that the poor, misunderstood young man had a past history of suffering and deprivation. He had a really bad toothache and no money for proper dental care. Under the circumstances, anyone could see that a young, confused person might lash out a little.

It's really such a shame that in Joe Biden's America, an 18 year old can't afford assault weapons, tactical gear and dental care. It's really not fair to expect a fine young white boy to walk around defenseless in this scary world. If we had some sort of social program that could provide weapons at lower cost for cash-strapped people, then poor Payton's pain could have been alleviated and all his subsequence suffering avoided.

Somebody should have helped this young man before he acted out from his deep well of sorrow.

I think young men need exposure early in their lives to both male mentors and appropriate fire arms. For example, let's say a young man is going to a job interview at a place he is unfamiliar with. He must pass through doors without knowing who or what is on the other side.

If he previously had good training in fire arms and was wearing a weapon he knew how to use, he would pass through the door with confidence. His interview demeanor would reflex this confidence and he would be successful. Money for a bad tooth or help with an amateur extraction would be there for him.

Sister, I think I see a way out of this situation. Universal assault rifles. Just basic ones, not cadillac weaponry that you might benefit from if you're a school teacher for occasional close quarters combat in the workplace. According to the 2nd Amendment we are entitled to a gun but there is no mention of dental care. Therefore guns should be prioritized here.

I am not an expert, but an assault rifle is one that is several steps up--technologically--than your average deer-hunting rifle.

It does the job of killing things faster and better. The more bullets sprayed, the higher the body count, and one doesn't even need to learn how to aim very carefully.

It is a prime example of American ingenuity and inventiveness. I worry, though, that it inspires laziness and a lack of discipline. You see. my non-believing friend, there is no such thing as an "assault Bible". So, while it is easy to kill people with little real skill if you can purchase the right equipment, it is not so easy to save people without the hard work and dedication needed to read, remember and understand the Bible.

As a True Christian™ this is my only problem with assault rifles.

Let me help you out here. Assault rifles are just as real as assault hammers, assault cars, assault bottles etc. The term is meaningless. You can have a rifle, car, hammer or bottle and assault someone with it. The action is the assault, not the object (If any) you use to do the assault with.

I had heard the very same thing, Mr. Rovagnati. Given how those drag queen people have a history of being angry and unreasonable, it should come as no surprise to any of us when the authorities confirm that a tranny is, in fact, responsible for the deaths of those innocent children.

While I sympathize with.... whatever this thread is about, I take issue with the insinuations made on an incidental point about a legally defensible definition of a reserved word.
