Don't Bring Your Chickens to Freehold

I warned the Des Moines Mayor and City Council, located right next to Freehold, it was doing something unBiblical and unpatriotic when it passed an ordinance some years ago to allow chicken flocks in Des Moines neighborhoods. It was unBiblical because when thousands of chickens are housed in tiny wire boxes the chickens know humans are to dominate them (Genisis 1:26-28).Small flocks and recognizing individual chickens sends the wrong message. It was unpatriotic because huge chicken confinement businesses are Capitalism, the economic system God gave the U.S.A.

Now there are so many chicken flocks in Des Moines others are complaining about crowing roosters and clucking hens. Des Moines is considering a no rooster and smaller size chicken flock ordinance. I'm concerned the crazy chicken people will move into Freehold with their smelly, noisy, unChristian and unpatriotic chicken flocks. Let there be no misunderstanding: Any chickens found in Freehold will be Sunday Dinner for the people in our Chrisitan city.

Oh, I think I might know why the Mayor and Council think it's perfectly fine to let chickens rule the roost in Des Moines. Some time ago, my sister (Agatha) mentioned that athetits were making up "funny" photos on the interwebs, concerning our . Most likely, due to the sort of photo that you shall see below, the Mayor — somehow or another — assumes that he is doing the work of the .



As our beloved Mayor Hold has said so wisely, the only place for a chicken is on the dining table for Sunday dinner. And, speaking of that, a roasting chicken is at the top of my shopping list for my next trip to the Piggly Wiggly!
