  • French Fries in Freehold

It was so refreshing to see our nation's leading health official, Robert Kennedy Jr., endorse a restaurant chain that serves french fries cooked in beef tallow. This is an American food that can be mass produced by factories and sold at a low price. Finally, capitalism at its best is returning. Thank you, President Trump.

Kennedy lauded Steak n Shake as a company making America healthy.

This is such a relief. I cannot be the only one who has been caused needless stress and worry over what I eat and drink. I know what God likes, and that's good enough for me,

Ge:4:4: And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

but constant niggling of Godless liberals can wear a man down.

I hope Kennedy finished off the meal with a good cigar and a generous glass of Jim Beam.

Well, thank goodness for common sense. Have you ever had fries that are cooked in one of those so-called "healthy" oils? They taste terrible. Drinking dishwater would have more flavor. I applaud dear Mr. Kennedy for this worthy news alert. My only hope is that he (and our glorious President Trump) remember that "French" fries should be known only by their name:

Oh, thank you, ever so kindly, dear Brother Dr. Toole! Yes! Ketchup, and NEVER mayonnaise — and it must be made from tomatoes! Even our beloved and glorious President — Donald J. Trump — agrees with you. May the bless you both abundantly!

Beef tallow is one of God's great gifts to mankind. Beef tallow deep-fried steak is as close as we can get to Heaven before Jesus kills us.

I'm not a theologian, but I've read the Bible and come to some conclusions. One is that the meals served us from Landover Baptist, the favored, in heaven will be deep-fried in tallow french fries and steak.

Amen, dear Brother Mayor Hold, and glory to for this! You can just bet your last dollar that there will be Freedom Fries in Heaven, and they will be cooked in beef tallow — NOT that disgusting canola oil stuff. Why, I can just imagine the dear enjoying his heavenly lunch at this very moment!

I personally prefer goose fat, but not regular goose only the rare Hawaiian Goose. Delicious. Don't let the whackos fool you into eating unadulterated vegetables. Men need meat, it's just a fact. End of discussion.

I'd like to have complete confidence in Secretary Kennedy, but he seems to be slipping a bit toward food woke. He is questioning use of six food dyes. These dyes are what makes our food look great. Red dye #10 has made billions of dollars for the food industry.

I can't understand this. The color "blue" is mentioned 50 times in the Bible, and always in a positive sense:

Ex:35:23: And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair, and red skins of rams, and badgers' skins, brought them.

Nu:4:12: And they shall take all the instruments of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put them on a bar:

So God has given us blue as a sign of "goodness."

Even if this interpretation is wrong, we have:

M'r:16:18: They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

That has to apply to "eat" as well. So, Christians can eat as many blue M&Ms as they want and suffer no ill effect. To be frank, I've not bothered what happens to heathens, pagans, heretics and atheists: They have their place in Hell.

Great Christian observation, Pastor Bathfire. The thing is, what we eat needs to match the industrial economy we live in. Secretary Kennedy has it right about beef tallow. That's all about cowboys and our history. He needs to recognize the industrial chemical industry along with the cowboys. Food dyes come from there. Add sugar from the piles of sugar beets in North Dakota and you have the best industrial food in the world.

I just love the phrasing that you have used here, Brother Mayor. Someone not of The Lord's elect might be able to come forth with some reasonably sensible arguments in favor of retaining the use of color dyes in food, but it wouldn't be imbued with the same Christian virtue.

A Jew, for instance, could bring up some salient economic points, but that would be a mere mercenary take on things. A True ChristianTM Believer is moved by The Holy Spirit and his or her observations will always be sanctified by God's Grace.

This thing about removing artificial dyes from American food sounds very un-American to me. That's what is different between American and European foods, ours are colorful and vibrant and theirs are boringly pale.

Take European cheeses, for example. So many different flavors, but all basically the same color, white to pale yellow. Boooring! Contrast that with our American cheddar cheese: no flavor, but what a beautiful vibrant color!

I also love that our meats and oranges are painted. Who would want to eat meat in it's natural color, that's just yucky! Artificial dyes are what makes American food American. Period.
God created fossils to test our faith.

I'm with you, Sister Basilissa. Red meat should be red. Treating meat that has been in the case for a few days with carbon monoxide brings out the best red color. Ours is simply a great country with a great industrial food system.
