Re: Evidence Missing - Negro Freed
You seem to think that I AM the FPD, that I control everything that goes on in the halls of our station, that I have access to every document.
I'm a cop. I have a job to do, and I do it the way God tells me to.
I am not a judge, I am not a prosecutor, I am not in charge of the evidence lockup.
I detained the man but I wasn't the one who searched his car, that's why we called in Roscoe.
You have a strange desire to lay the entire blame for this on my doorstep, when there were four other officers and a police dog on the scene.
What's wrong, Harold? Who is the one who has fixed all of your traffic tickets? Who looks the other way when you've been clocked on radar doing 37 in a 35 MPH zone? Who shares his donuts with you when he takes a swing through the Freehold Mobile Estates?
These are questions you should be forwarding to the police chief and court, not the hard working beat cop that pulls a darkie over for reckless driving and booming his music above the legal limit that is only reserved in our community for the loudspeakers of True Christians.
If you are, as you seem to indicate, in favor of tough, no-nonsense police work that is unencumbered by political correctness and liberal secular oversight, then I'm the man you want as Sheriff.
If you want more of this bumbling police work and liberal sensitivity to minorities, I say keep your current sheriff and police chief.
There's not a whole lot I can do as an underpaid beat cop, is there?
