Mayor, what with you being away from the safe and secure walled in community of Landover, I worry about the Godless attempting to assault you with Satan's Sweet Song.
I'd like to send one of my security details to watch over you. Being summer has started, I have the first few bus loads of strapping young men here at the plantation to learn about how Jesus wants us to survive a liebral attack. These fine 11 to 14 year olds are at the various key defensive posts learning about field stripping and devotion to God.

I've been working the phones since I returned. Those Norwegian Lutherans, they are a tough bunch. I was able to arrange for Stevie to continue on as Mayor. The next task is to get the charges dropped--especially the annal rape claim by a jealous woman.

Man, what Mayors have to put up with! My hope is that Steve can continue serving the citizens of Halstad.

When I got the call from Stevie Sortland, I could not believe it.

Here is the good Mayor of a small town in our neighoring State of Minnesota facing serious trumped up charges. The charges are 3rd Degree Sexual Assault and making terrorist threats. He was calling from jail.

Stevie wondered if I could come up and help negotiate some deal to have the false charges dropped. I was on the way.

There is so much danger in being a Mayor today. Political enemies come up with these absurd allegations and the next thing you know your own police force is knocking on your door.

While we Republicans are cutting back on government, we need to pass a law against unwarrented charges against local officials. If a Mayor, for example, has an exwife who decides to make life unpleasant for a public servant, what better way to do it than pretend there was some kind of assualt or terrorism.

Until there is such protection, I'll be helping Mayors incarcerated under the mistaken notion they had something other than the best interests of their citizens in mind at all times.
