Jesus always says yes to True Christians (ask, seek, knock)

Associate Pastor of Theology

The Bible is quite clear that Jesus/God will always say yes to your prayers if you truly have faith in Him.

Knock, seek, ask and the rewards of heaven will come pouring in.

Matthew 7:7-11

7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

S. Michael Houdmann

Michael Houdmann Satanic liar or leading people to hell through ignorance of the scriptures?

I have seen some so called apologists try to argue this Jesus doesn’t mean what He says. They completely ignore verse 11. They pretend it’s completely gone. One needs to ask why they have to put so many words on the computer screen? Could it be they know they are lying, twisting scripture and distorting what Jesus’ simple message was? This it one of the multitude of reasons it’s so important to go with a competent True Christian apologist.

There’s also the Luke 11:9-13 version, just in case one source of Jesus Christ’s words weren’t enough for you believe.

13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Let’s not forget that Jesus will reward those who ask.

Matthew 6:6  But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Faith of a Mustard Seed

Jesus isn’t even asking for a lot of faith from you. He is only asking for the smallest amount possible, a mustard seed’s worth. You have more faith in Jesus than a mustard seed, don’t you?

Matthew 21:21-22

21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

More mustard seeds and nothing is impossible for you!

Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Ask anything in my name and I shall do it.

Here Jesus teaches us that even His miracles and greatest works can be performed by his believers. But that’s only if you truly believe!

He’s getting it!

John 14:10-1410 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Paul writes:

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Praise God! If there’s anything I could teach the fake apologists out there, it’s that they need to read all of the Bible and carefully consider it in context! Here we have documented proof that there are apologists out there that don’t care about being faithful to God’s Word.

Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

But I suppose S. Michael Houdmann doesn’t believe the Lord here either.

My prayers weren’t answered yes!

If you find that your prayers are not answered, I have a sermon especially for you. The reason your prayers are likely not answered affirmatively is because you have some sin or not enough faith in your life blocking out your prayers to God. That or you are no True Believer. Either way, the fault lies with you! Not with God!

But we’re all sinners!

Wrong! If you are a True Christian, you will not continue to wallow in perversion and sin. Then you’ll need to read this life changing sermon.
