Mississippi man sticks it to big government and gun grabbers. Shoots waitress.

Johnny Mount from Biloxi refused to put out a cigarette he was smoking inside the restaurant. Instead of being a victim of big brother telling him where he can and can’t smoke exercised his 2nd amendment rights.

Of course, the state will try him as a murderer. He (allegedly) did murder that lady and he will pay for that in this life and the next.

But is this really 1st degree murder? It seems more of a crime of anger and passion to me. I was under the impression that 1st degree murder is premeditated.

It seems to me Mount should be shown leniency. I mean, he is somewhat of the victim here too. The lady was telling him not to smoke in the restaurant. I am sure that angered him.

So he pulled out his perfectly legal handgun and shot her in the head. I have no doubt he would have broken his glass and stabbed her or sliced her throat with a steak knife if he hadn’t had the gun.
Let’s all remember the gun here is merely incidental.

I also think it’s important to keep in mind that he is probably a troubled and angry man. I think it’s important that he have a good job to buy health insurance, so he gets the mental help he needs. That’s really the only way this violence can be averted.

That and the other waitresses should have been armed. If they had been, he may have been too afraid to draw on her. Honestly, this shocking lack of guns is sickening in a state like Mississippi.
