Statement of Faith

Anyone* can become a Landover Baptist True Christian™ by uniting with the Landover Baptist Church, the one Church that persists in the enterprise of reaching the world for Christ. Exclusively, Church membership is a matter of absolute Repentance, unquestioningly but freely receiving Jesus as both the Savior and Lord and your personal Savior and Lord, experiencing Believer’s Baptism by immersion** and following all God’s Commandments.

*Within the terms of “The Restricted Fellowshiping Ordinance 1903” (as revealed to Pastor Lamentations Flint in his dream of 7/31/1903) that either restricts or excludes certain categories of person whom the Lord, in His wisdom and Mercy, finds vile, an abomination, painful to the eyes or mind, and/or others deemed unsuitable for (but not restricted to) flatness of noses, nappyness of hair, sexual practices, political beliefs, errant faith in science so-called, secular education, belief in social medicine of any sort, etc.
**Deaths during immersion ensure entry to Heaven as per Lamentation Flint’s personal revelation by the Archangel Gabriel in 1927

The Scriptures

The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit and it is God’s revelation of Himself to men. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction. It has God for its author, Salvation for its end, and Truth™ without any error for its matter. All Scripture is totally True™ and trustworthy. It reveals the sole way we should live our lives, the absolute principles by which Jesus judges us and it is the supreme and only guide by which all human conduct, scientific study, entertainment, culture, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried. All Scripture is a testimony of and to Christ, who is Himself the focus of divine revelation as the Incarnation of The Triune God incarnate. The Holy Bible in its only perfect form can be accessed only through the King James Version 1611, which is the perfect and unerring Word of God. All other versions in any other language including Greek and Hebrew are secondary, errant, and their use, after rarely given authorization by a Pastor, is restricted, when convenient, to inspirational matters, (as it were, ‘morality tales’), for the guidance of semi-literate sinners, foreigners, those whose origins are in the tropics, members of false denominations and other social organizations, etc., onto the correct and narrow path towards Jesus Christ.

God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit

There is one (and only one) one and only living and True™ God. The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as the Trinity of the Father, Son (Jesus Christ our Lord) and the Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being. God as Father reigns over His universe, His creatures, and the flow of human history according to the purposes of His Grace. God is Father in Truth™ to those who become children of God through faith in Jesus Christ. Christ is the eternal Son of God. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ, He was conceived of the Holy Spirit. He honored the divine law by His personal obedience, and in His temporary death on the Cross, He made provision for the redemption of men from sin by example, miracle, and statement.
(i) The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. He exalts Christ and God The Father. He enlightens and empowers the believer and the Church in worship, evangelism, and service.
(ii) God The Father is God, fully divine. He exalts Christ and The Holy Spirit. He enlightens and empowers the believer and the Church in worship, evangelism, and service.
(iii) God The Son is wholly of God The Father, and is fully divine. He exalts God The Father and The Holy Spirit. He enlightens and empowers the believer and the Church in worship, evangelism, and service.
(iv) The nature of the Trinity is male, God is male, Jesus is male; the Holy Spirit is male.

Man

Man is the special Creation of God, in His Own Image. He created them male and female as the crowning work of His Creation. Man is ordained to have dominion over plants, animals and other parts of the Created Earth and subdue it by God’s command. However, by her disobedience to God and her husband the first woman sinned against God and brought sin into the human race. Henceforth, all generations have been tainted and, as a consequence, are of sinful nature, susceptible to the Wrath of God. The Great Flood and the incident at the Tower of Babel resulted in the formation of diverse nations and racial groups. The sacredness of human personality is evident in that God created man in His Own Image, and in that Christ died for man; therefore every True Christian™ person of every race* possesses dignity and is worthy of respect and Christian love.

Man’s principal duty is to Fear God and keep all His commandments even where these appear (but do not) contradict earlier or later guidance. Men have no need nor requirement, and indeed it is forbidden, to question God’s qualities of omnipotence, omniscience and total goodness by referring to apparently violent acts by God in retaliation of sins. As God is the ultimate source of the definitions of Good and Evil as revealed in the Scripture, it is the duty of man to understand that all God’s actions are by definition Good. Any appearance of a violent nature of the jealous God should only increase the spiritually healthy fear and respect of Him: it is a fear which leads to acceptance, obedience and, ultimately, Salvation. These issues, whilst apparent to the Congregation of Landover Baptist Church, are incomprehensible to men of lesser Faith and Faiths on the Fallen Earth but will become clear to them after the End of Times when they, False Christians and those of other heathen religions including Catholics, Atheists and Muslims will be judged unworthy.

Salvation

Salvation involves the Redemption of the whole man, and is offered to all men* who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. Man cannot be Saved by his actions or good deeds, as everything man does before Salvation is by definition corrupt and abominable. Election is the gracious purpose of God, according to which He regenerates, justifies, sanctifies, and glorifies sinners, who can through their acceptance of the True™ nature of God eventually win the conditional love of Jesus. As a result, the Saved™ person is free of sin and by definition cannot sin any more. Those whom God has accepted in Christ, and sanctified by His Spirit will never fall away from the state of grace, but shall persevere to the end. For the woman this same narrow path of Salvation is also available with the additional prerequisite of producing new Soldiers for Jesus Christ. Those who fail to repent and acquire God’s Grace will have their souls cast in a literal Hell for eternity with no possibility of pardon. Hell is a physical place, where sinners are tormented for an infinite amount of time. Atheists, followers of false religions, children too young to repentance and those who have committed the unforgivable sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit dwell in Hell.

The Church

The Independent, Fundamentalist, Bible Believing, Baptist Church of Landover is the congregation of believers baptized of the Water and The Blood of Christ, and is fundamentally bound by covenant in the full faith and fellowship of the gospel, as inerrantly displayed for the Glory of God and the Salvation of the Soul of the World in KJV 1611
(i) to the observance of every single ordinance of God The Father, God The Spirit, and, Christ, who is God The Son,
(ii) to exercising the gifts, rights, and privileges invested in them by His Word, and
(iii) to seeking, without regard to worldly public or personal safety, to extend the gospel to the four corners of the earth. Each congregation operates under the Lordship of Christ through the absolute word of its pastors.
(iv) Its scriptural officers are True Christian™ pastors and deacons. The office of pastor and any others who would offer instruction to believers is limited solely, strictly and without exception to True Christian™ males of any age who have been shown to be qualified by acceptance of Christ; obedience to God (in all His Forms), and the Scriptures.
(v) The congregation has the Christian duty to support the Church and its Pastors in these vital duties by financial offerings in the form of the tithes as ordained by God and Scripture. The tithe is defined as the tenth part of the income of the man, widow or orpahn in the congregation before any taxes, child support, or other dues or expenses.

Baptism & the Lord’s Supper

True Christian™ Baptism is the total, complete, and prolonged immersion of a believer, fully clothed in a Christian manner*, in water. It is an act of utter obedience publicly displaying and announcing the believer’s faith in a Crucified, Buried, and Risen Saviour, the believer’s death to sin, the burial/drowning of the old sinful, vile and worthless life, and the Resurrection to walk the walk of newness of life in Christ Jesus and compelling him to take all opportunities to speak of the experience to others in word, deed wherever and whenever the Spirit takes him and in particular to those of no or weaker Faiths.

The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His Second Coming. In the Lord’s Supper, the wine remains wine, and the bread remains bread. Claims by the Whore of Babylon to any miracle of transubtantiation are of Satan and designed by The Lord of the Flies and broadcast by his earthly minion, the vicar of Rome, to mislead.

Evangelism & Missions

It is the duty and privilege of every follower of Christ to endeavor to make disciples of all nations. All True Christians™ are to seek constantly to win the lost to Christ by verbal witness undergirt by a Christian lifestyle, and by other methods in harmony with the gospel of Christ. This is to be conducted in Love and Compassion, the ultimate aim of which is to convey that the Wrath of God is so hideous and terrible that sometimes harsh words and compulsion are required to guide the sinner to the narrow path towards Jesus Christ. A True Christian™ understands also that the demonic possession by Satan within sinners causes constant persecution of believers, but that this persecution ultimately works for the greater glory of True Christians™ following their admission to Heaven.

Last Things

God, in His own time and in His own way, will bring the world to its appropriate end when we least expect it. Jesus Christ, on a white horse with a sword in His mouth and seven stars in his hand, will return personally and visibly eradicate one third of the Earth’s population whereupon He will gather His True Believers™ in the clouds and guide them into Heaven. This is the Rapture. Those left behind will be subjected to Tribulations, during which some will ultimately repent and join Jesus in His fight against the Enemy. The dead will be raised; and Christ will judge all men in righteousness. The unrighteous will be consigned to Hell. The righteous True Christians™ will receive their reward and will dwell forever in Heaven with the Lord. Jesus will reign supreme and rule for a thousand years on Earth, after which Satan will be released and the final battle will defeat him forever. Jesus will then rule over mankind in a new Heaven and new Earth for eternity, while sinners will be confined into Hell for Eternal torture.

Education

All teachers in Christian homeschooling, college, or seminary have the freedom and duty to pronounce the pre-eminence of Jesus Christ, so demonstrated to be through the authoritative nature of the Scriptures, and by the distinct purpose for which the school exists. The Bible is the ultimate guide to all scientific endeavors and the final judge of the reliability and usefulness of scientific results. The Genesis is a historical account of the Creation and is without error or admixture, and the literal Creation and Fall and lead directly to the prerequisites for the incarnation of Christ and our subsequent Salvation. Scientific theories that contradict the Bible are by definition not only false and merely theories of the Satanic mind but also insurmountable obstacles to Salvation. The True Church™ knows that the 6-day Creation, the Firmament, the four-cornered shape of the Earth, the waters above and beneath, the Garden of Eden, the literal Fall, the Great Flood, the Tower of Babel are as equally real and accurate as the detailed life of Jesus Christ on Earth. The theories of cosmology, evolution, secular medicine, Freudian psychology, exegetics, etc. are delusions sent by God the Creator to fool those who have fallen from His Grace (or, alternatively, by Satan’s handmaid, the Roman Catholic Church, The Democratic Party, Communists and/or Atheists, etc.). Creation Science is the discipline that advances our technological and scientific expertise within the framework of Scripture. Those who oppose these views dispute the supremacy of God, and are damned.

The Social Order and the Family

All Christians are under obligation to seek to make the Will of Christ supreme in our own lives and in human society. In the spirit of Christ, Christians should oppose and refrain from racism, every form of greed, selfishness, lust, envy, wrath, sloth, pride, gambling, smoking, swearing, wanton indulgence in idle pursuits, drinking, drugs, apostacy, and all forms of sexual immorality, including, but not restricted to, any act (or thought of the act) of prostitution, abortion, fornication, adultery, transvestitism, homosexuality, bestiality, pederasty, pornography, wild or abandoned conjugal relations even within marriage for its own sake rather than procreation, self-abuse, and all and any fetishes, etc. All Christians should work to provide (where true need is established) for the orphaned (save those of the enemy), the needy (save those who fail to behave abstemiously) , the abused, (save those of other religions), the aged (where they are Christian and decorous), the helpless, and the sick (save where they fail to accept Christ.) We should speak on behalf of the unborn and contend for the sanctity of all human life from conception to natural death. As True Christians™ we are obliged to follow secular law even when it contradicts our beliefs but equally obliged to attempt to change ungodly laws in cooperation with the Republican Political Party that is appointed by God.

God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood or adoption. Heterosexual marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime. The husband and wife are of equal worth before God, since both are created in God’s image. A husband is to love his wife as Christ loved the Church. He has the God-given responsibility to provide for, to protect, and to lead his family. A wife is to submit herself unquestioningly to the servant leadership of her husband even as the Church willingly submits to the headship of Christ. She, being in the image of God as is her husband and thus equal to him, has the God-given responsibility to respect her husband and to serve as his helper in managing the household and producing and nurturing the next generation. Male children, from the moment of conception, are a blessing and heritage from the Lord and female children are future helpers for the woman in her duties in the household. Parents are to demonstrate to their children God’s pattern for marriage. God has given commandments on how to discipline children and how to make them fear God.

Through fear and obedience, the intergenerational punishment of God from the sins of forefathers can be overcome based on the temporary sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the children may have the potential for Salvation. Salvation and the preceding Baptism require the person to repent and to understand the concepts therein. Henceforth, infants and toddlers cannot gain Salvation and usually a child has to be in late adolescence before being able to gain God’s Grace. Unborn children and young persons without grace cannot enter Heaven but their souls are lost for Eternity. The principal threats for the social order and family during these last days are the widespread practices of male and female sodomy and female emancipation. in addition, family planning and contraception are equally condemned by Scripture. It is the duty of all True Christians™ to fight these menaces with love and compassion towards the culprits, as all these sins are pivotal when it comes to the judging of men at the end of Times.
