You call yourselves Christians, but none of you are. The Lord loves all of his sons and daughters equally, including people who are mentally handicapped. The Special Olympics is a beautiful thing, and in fact, I doubt that 90% of the people in this forum could do as well as some of these mentally handicapped people do in their events. The Lord knows when someone has hate in his or her heart, and that hate is what the Lord dislikes. This mind-set that the Special Olympics are wrong stems from hateful hearts. Unfortunately, the Devil also knows when someone has hate in his or her heart, and he will try to take advantage of that hate for persuasion. I hope you all are ready.

The Bible tells us that He only loves those who follow His Laws and love Him. He hates the rest and will throw them into Hell to prove it.

I am a Catholic Christian, and I have read the Bible numerous times, but your interpretation of the Bible is clouded and completely wrong. Some of you talk of beating wives and killing mentally handicapped kids (who are people). Murder is a mortal sin. And beating your wife is also a sin. Did Jesus beat woman or kill people due to some sort of handicap. The answer is 'NO!' In fact, Jesus saved Mary Magdelan from being stoned to death for prostitution, because he could see the good in everybody. He also cured the sick and disabled. I doubt that the son of God would go against his Father's wishes. I honestly just feel sorry for the people in this forum with this horrible mindset of a revenge seeking God. I also feel sorry for your families for having to deal with your ideas. Maybe you should stop rewriting and changing the Bible so it better suits your ideas, and read the real version of the Bible. I am a part of one of the oldest, largest, most significant religions in the world, Catholicism. How could you possibly think that your new-age religious thinkings compare to a centuries old religion? I don't mind people having views that oppose mine, except when those views goes against the law of nature and justice. No person (male, female, white, black, Indian, Native American, Asian, Latin American, African, young, old, mentally handicapped or physically handicapped) should be treated unfairly or be unjustly harmed in anyway. Take a good look at the God you have all created, because that is not the Lord that you will meet at the end of your life.

You should not pity him, it is bad for his self esteem. Instead, complain about the inconvenience he is. It will make him want to do better. Never a good idea to coddle a whiner.

i laugh at the silly people that wear stupid clothes and think they are ooh so gorgeous.....but i never ever laugh menacingly at another soul...
as for taking money,your a truck driver aren't you?.you get paid to do that..well i get paid a wage to nurse the sick..my job.
my vocation however is working at the homeless shelter and soup kitchens for people with nothing....

I never said disrespect, Actually, I tried to show you to honor your father by treating him as a normal person. Do you pity every body? Of course not. Do you coddle everyone? Of course not. Doing these things for a cripple only further impresses the fact that you know they are inferior. Never let them see you sweat.

Is not a pony a living being yet you laugh at it? Does your pony have feelings?

Do you laugh at your dogs because the toys you bought (and should of tithed instead) are funny?

I do get paid to do my job. I only haul True Christian™ items, often for free and I tithe almost 50% of what I earn, after taxes.

Working in a homeless shelter and not getting paid does not please God. How can you tithe to Him your efforts if you are not paid? That is very bad. Those shelters are taking advantage of you. I would sue. I can give you the name of a real good joo lawyer. You'll own the shelter when he gets done with them. Maybe you could turn it into a spa and really rake it in for God.

as for the homeless,they need more than i do...surely it can't be a bad thing to be a volenteer at a these places.?

Homeless people are the way they are because most of them are too cheap to part with a nickel. I will not say what religious background they are but I suspect you know. So instead of enabling these people to show pride in taking responsibility in life, you give them handouts. Do you have any idea how demeaning they feel, begging from you, someone so well off that they do not bother to collect a paycheck? God works 24 hours a day, seven days a week, serving all of mankind, even the ones he does not like very much. And you are going to begrudge him a few pennies for his efforts. I cannot believe you want to lower God to your level.
