Answered Prayers: Glory to Jesus!

GLORY!

Brethren and Sisters,

We often ask Jesus to fulfill our needs and requests; and those requests are highly visible here on God's Favorite Forum. However, we also constantly receive answers for our prayers. Jesus provides; He gives us what we ask.

John 14:13-14
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it].

It is always useful for atheist sinners to see that not only are our prayers answered but also to realize how detailed and versatile the prayer tool is in times of need. I will start by thanking Jesus Christ our Lord and Sweet Son of God our Savior for some items that occurred within the last 24 hours because I prayed for them!
  1. I asked Jesus to smite disgusting vile sinners, to show them His Love and Wrath so that they would Repent and return to the bosom of Jesus. And it happened. Jesus caused an explosion in a brothel nightclub in Papist-Orthodox Romania with dozens killed (lost souls as predestined by Jesus) or injured (shown the Love of Jesus and a chance to Repent; Hebrews 12:16).
  2. I asked Jesus for my Mother NOT to call me yesterday and she didn't (she is 80+ but a harlot and I have not forgiven her the Harry Potter books she tried to give my boys last Christmas ; Luke 14:26).
  3. I prayed for a regular, painless bowel movement after my morning coffee for a change and Jesus provided. My usually lengthy visit to the restroom was so short that I hardly had time to read my favorite restroom verses from the KJV book on the restroom shelf (Deuteronomy 23, especially Deuteronomy 23:13).

I challenge you, Brethren, to share with the sinners of this world the most glorious, most ordinary and most mind blowing prayers of yours that Jesus has answered. While we thank Him constantly in our prayers, it is time we showed also the repulsive unbelievers that Faith is worth it!

Mark 11:24
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them].

Praise God! Praise Jesus! Praise the Holy Spirit! When I want to help the world with the love of Jesus, He provides (in Romania). When I want to avoid the repulsive secular world and ask Jesus for help, He provides (my mother). When I am in need and anguish, I turn to Jesus, and He provides (my bowels). These are miracles. The world needs to know!

Yours in Christ,

Elmer :bye:

Praise Jesus Brother Distinguished Professor of Prayer Healing and Creation Zoology Elmer G. White, Sir.

Today a Miracle from God above. Last week I prayed for forgiveness for not showing respect toward an Elderly Christian Gentleman who took my car space and waved his stick at me in anger when I called him a Blind Old Flatulence. Well it turned out this man was a member of a local Baptist Church.
Today, thank you Jesus, I was able to attend this mans funeral. I was driving past the Church and I noticed an easel out the front with a large photograph on it that I immediately identified as the Blind Old Flatulence Man.
On went my breaks near missing two of his relatives that I almost surely nearly sent to their graves, who in turn waved their sticks at me with rambled accompanying words and the stench of flatulence.
Ino the Church I ran, and in i ran with gusto screaming "PRAISE JESUS, GLORIOUS GOD, YOU TOOK THIS MAN!" What a privilege for him. The Church was silent with sorrow and I suspect gratitude for my loving words. I made my amends.

Great news, Brother, and let us thank Jesus Christ for granting you what you asked!

1 John 5:14-15
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

Your request must have been according to His Will; otherwise He wouldn't have heard you!

:praise:

May I also congratulate you for your exemplary use of rational logic. The sequential time-frame between of your request and the outcome of the funeral show the causality of answered prayers beyond any reasonable doubt! I have also some relatives who have become annoying atheists and I think it is time Jesus made an intervention. Your story gives me unprecedented HOPE!

:praise:

Yours in Christ,

Elmer :bye:

Re: Answered Prayers: Glory to Jesus!

I've been busy all day, monitoring my children's privacy, keeping up with discipline needs, doing chores myself, all the while thinking of ways to pray without repeating myself (Matthew 6:7), when I realize I haven't eaten all day. I'm ravenous!

So I thank Jesus for a healthy stomach and digestive system in general, and then pray for wisdom in discerning what to eat. My husband had some friends over yesterday evening for a late night Bible study and prayer group, and they ate me out of house and home.

To make a long story short, I just found some deli meat in the back of the fridge the men never found. I can have lunch! Thank you Jesus for hiding the salami for my pleasure!
