Arkansas Republican speaks sense about slavery.

And, of course, the lie-beral lamestream MSM are persecuting him for it. State Representative Jon Hubbard has written,
Quote:

“… the institution of slavery that the black race has long believed to be an abomination upon its people may actually have been a blessing in disguise. The blacks who could endure those conditions and circumstances would someday be rewarded with citizenship in the greatest nation ever established upon the face of the Earth.” (Pages 183-89)
Who could argue with that? What's more, they'd be rewarded eternally by learning about Jesus and abandoning the demons that they had worshiped back in the dark continent. What's a lifetime of slavery compared to an eternity of bliss in Heaven?

It may have been a blessing for the blacks, but my heart aches for their former owners who spent so much time and money bringing them here and taking the time to teach them about Christ's love only to see them throw their support to a muslim president. The angels in Heaven surely weep at the thought of it.

Isn't there a saying, "No good deed goes unpunished."

The slave owners spent a lot of money buying slaves. The slaves had food and housing, back in Africa them had only coconut leaves.

And, how were the slave owners rewarded? Many slaves "stole themselves" by running away. Then, liberal Lincoln set them free without any compensation to the owners.

It's an injustice that has never been resolved. There must be descendants of slave owners who are owed millions in lost assets and the accumulated interest.

There really ought to be some sort of reparations paid out to the former slave owners who sacrificed and lost so much, and perhaps some sort of apology should be issued by the federal government for their complicity in the systematic looting of White Southerners' property. I guess we'll have to wait until January 20, 2013 before this long-neglected issue pops up on the radar screen again!!
