Obamanation Attorney General throws heterosexuals under the bus.

We now officially have liberty and justice for only some. From here:

Statement of the Attorney General on Litigation Involving the Defense of Marriage Act

WASHINGTON – The Attorney General made the following statement today about the Department’s course of action in two lawsuits, Pedersen v. OPM and Windsor v. United States, challenging Section 3 of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), which defines marriage for federal purposes as only between a man and a woman:

* * *

After careful consideration, including a review of my recommendation, the President has concluded that given a number of factors, including a documented history of discrimination, classifications based on sexual orientation should be subject to a more heightened standard of scrutiny. The President has also concluded that Section 3 of DOMA, as applied to legally married same-sex couples, fails to meet that standard and is therefore unconstitutional. Given that conclusion, the President has instructed the Department not to defend the statute in such cases. I fully concur with the President’s determination.

Consequently, the Department will not defend the constitutionality of Section 3 of DOMA as applied to same-sex married couples in the two cases filed in the Second Circuit. We will, however, remain parties to the cases and continue to represent the interests of the United States throughout the litigation. I have informed Members of Congress of this decision, so Members who wish to defend the statute may pursue that option. The Department will also work closely with the courts to ensure that Congress has a full and fair opportunity to participate in pending litigation.

* * *

But while both the wisdom and the legality of Section 3 of DOMA will continue to be the subject of both extensive litigation and public debate, this Administration will no longer assert its constitutionality in court.
This unelected liberal activist Attorney General thinks that with the stroke of a pen, he can abolish both heterosexual marriage and the Constitutionally limited government that we Tea Partiers prize.

And that is the difference between us and them. We believe that everyone has the right to get married, just as long as it's with a member of the opposite sex. But what the liberals and homosexual agenda want is inequality: they demand special privileges for the gays only. What, current marriage laws aren't good enough for them? Why do they have to rewrite them so they benefit homosexuals?

It is high time the government gets out of our lives and stop telling us we can't take the right away from people don't like. As Christians persecuting homosexuals is a MATTER OF FAITH. For the law to twisted to deny this right of ours to treat gays in a manner our God demands the law is twisted to demand we stop being Christians.

Yet another example of the Federal government overstepping its boundaries by not mandating that no state can have gay marriage.

With Obama's first (and hopefully last) term drawing to a close, we can expect to see more and more of this kind of tyranny, as thrashes about like a crazed black fish out of African waters to destroy the remnants of western civilization.

I feel the rock solid foundation of my marriage giving way already. :(

I noticed that Obama's "home state" of Hawaii legalized sodomy immediately after this announcement. The liberals are all in lockstep, forcing their special rights on God fearing Christians everywhere. :angry:

I am not married.

Are they going to force me to marry a man?

As a Christian, I am bound to obey secular law . . . :fear2:

Obama is trying to make it national!

And what about you, Zeke? You still haven't married Sister Thumper. They could come for you, too, and force you to marry Bobby-Joe!

You're not the only one. In the past two years, gay marriage has been forced by a minority of majority voters onto several states. Then this past year, I just divorced my fifth wife.

Coincidence? Hardly. When will people wake up and see that gay marriage is eroding traditional marriage?

I believe that my on-going engagement to Sister Daisy Mae serves as a shining example of masculine Christian obedience to God's Word. I want to teach all the nubile young Christian men out there that long engagements can be a good thing, allowing the sowing of wild oats on behalf of Jesus all over the world.

I know that there are countless sodomites out there who lust after me and want nothing more than to devote themselves to being my homersexural sex slave, and many even have set up websites that proporte to have pornographic images of me toworship. All I have to say to them is "take a number, grab a magazine, and have a seat." :lol:

I guess that leaves me with Bobby-Joe . . . It'll be that Hell House rehearsal all over again, won't it? :wacko:

I'm praying for a miracle! Imagine the gay-bauchery. Men will be forced to marry boys and vice versa. We'll all be forced to live like ancient Romans and cat-licks... Greased up, wearing togas and wrestling with nude boys who must put their grapes into our mouths and provide teabags when we get thirsty. It's a filthy, filthy scene... Filthy.

I just cannot stop thinking about how filthy that's going to be.

Bathing In Christ's Holy Blood,
Harry Lester

Just dirty filthy.
