So, if you haven’t heard the news, Josh Duggar of the TLC reality series “19 Kids and Counting” is now the Executive Director of the Family Research Center’s Action Arm.

According to the Family Research Center (FRC), Josh “will bring his pro-life and pro-family passions to the political arena where he will help expand FRCA’s reach as a premier conservative advocacy group.”

In plain speak, Josh Duggar is going to help spread hate, discrimination, homophobia, ignorance, and intolerance — FRC style.

Quite honestly, all you really need to know about Josh Duggar is that he served as a surrogate for Rick Santorum during the 2012 Republican presidential primary – that bit of information should tell you all you really need to know about Josh, what he believes and what he will bring to the table in his new role in the political arena.

The Family Research Center is such a hate-filled, anti-gay organization that the Southern Poverty Law Center in 2010 labeled it a “hate group” for its “dissemination of false and demonizing propaganda about gays and lesbians.”

Now, I will admit to being a reality television addict – however, I can also say that I never watched an episode of the Duggars and their Quiverfull life.

I find the whole “Quiverfull” thing just wrong on so many levels.

This idea that you should have as many children as the Lord chooses to bless you with, and that artificial or chemical birth control are equated with abortion, are ideas which are just too much for me to even begin to understand.

Josh Duggar is going to follow in the Quiverfull life and have as many children as the Lord chooses to bless him with. He will raise them in a home where the Father is the head of the household and his wife will be submissive to him.

(It was hard for me to type that last sentence, let alone try and understand a life that is lived in such a way.)

And this is the man who is going to help the FRC in “…taking our grassroots outreach to the next level and engaging more young people to care about the values so vital to our success as a nation.”

And those values would be what? Men in charge, women being submissive, intolerance, hatred, ignorance, lies, discrimination, and all the other hateful, anti-gay rhetoric that flows from the Family Research Center.

Ever vigilant, my friends – we must be ever vigilant.

Did you catch that last part? A call to arms of the ultraliberals if I ever heard one!
