A Reminder, Ladies

As a True Christian™ male, I hate that I have to remind you nattering women every single year that it's not too late to begin preparing recipes for your menfolk for Thanksgiving. By this time you should have your menu prepared and making test runs of each dish so it is perfect. Instead you're busy talking about Jezebel type things, probably - I haven't actually READ these threads - so get to work and please your man.

When you do this, you also please God.

I believe not only food, Brother, but decoration as well. This year I want to see a lot of Thanksgiving details, like injuns thanking God's people for taking care of their duties and leaving them with Casinos and booze, the 2 preferred hobbies of the so-called "native americans".

Also, I want women to enforce the #ThanksGodforDonald campaign. It should be this year's Thanksgiving motto.

My $0.02 worth here - if I see any recipes from Elizabeth "Gray Beaver" Warren's "Pow Wow Chow" cookbook on the table I'll go ballistic.

There are some ladies that prefer takeout on Thanksgiving, I don't know if they are so busy that they failed to write down some must try recipes during this awaited event.

My understanding is that Thanksgiving is all about when the Indians prepared a decent meal for hungry white people. I'll say "pass" on Elizabeth Warren's curried Gray Beaver but us white Americans should be given the option to take a tax credit in lieu of this fantastic meal.

A fresh beaver loin prepared in the authentic way at a proper restaurant sounds very expensive. At least $100/lb and I would eat 20-30 lb at a sitting, my accountant advises me. That means a credit of $3k per white person per Thanksgiving. And a free bonus for the Indians: they don't need to cook so they can save on the bus fare and stay put in SD or ND or wherever and keep drinking lager.

While I know I'm new and have not yet earned the "forum member" status, I would like to add one bit of advice: Don't skimp on dessert. It could turn a mere satisfactory dining experience to an extraordinary one!

And if you're expecting a big crowd, have a variety of desserts to choose from. Peach cobbler, apple pie, pecan pie, a couple different cakes, and ice cream will appease even the pickiest eater.

Sister,

It is true you do not yet have member status, and as such you have no right to natter on with advice to our True Christian™ womenfolk, but I completely agree with your statements. The fact that a True Christian™ male has given your words approval gives them credence and allows the womenfolk to take them under consideration. Well done!

BrotherLarry

PS: Has anyone ever said you look like a dark Barbie doll? Very nice!

Yes absolutely do NOT skimp on pie. Men sometimes will reach for it without even asking. Just grab. They don't even wait. And they'll let you do it. You can do anything... grab them by the pie crust. You can do anything.
