So is that the only lie in the bible? SURELY there must be more, maybe the whole thing is? Maybe you're basing your entire life and religion on 100% lies, wouldn't that be a shame

Oh dear, a true retarded.

God created not only the world, but also the Heavens. And technically, it only took Him 6 days.

Hence my answer: no.

Got it? :glare:

Why are you believing in the bible when all it is is lies? Did god make the world in 7 days. yes or no? and if yes, explain dinosaurs.

Does the Bible say God made the world in six days? Why yes. I believe it does.

Exodus 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Dinosaurs like this?

Job 40:15-24 Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.
He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.
He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.
Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.
He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.
Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.
He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.

Sea monsters.

Job3:8 May those who curse days curse that day, those who are ready to rouse Leviathan.

Dragons

Job 30:29 I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls.

Deuteronomy 32:33 Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps.

:jesus:

Fatality.

@Levi jones stop quoting me bible verses that make no sense, they dont mean anything. explain how god went from NOTHING. to creating the world/etc/etc including humans in (6..whatever) days. What happened to the existence of dinosaurs in this story? Humans/dinosaurs never met and apparantly humans were around 6 days after earth was created. explain (hopefully without quoting me some meaningless bible verse)

Humans and dinosaurs never existed together according to whom? A few egg head scientists say it's true, so you blindly accept it as fact?

We have evidence from the Bible of a human describing dinosaurs with his own eyes! How much more evidence do you need?

You know what? do sell your daughter. it must be horrible living with someone as blind and unintelligent as you, she'll probably commit suicide one day, she'd be better off than having you as a parent. Try and atleast be considerate who you sell her to, i mean, just about anyone is better than you but still. Keep wasting your life, it's a shame you wont have any thoughts/emotions after you die because it would be hilarious to see your reaction after finding out heaven doesnt exist.

You must be very popular at parties. They never invite you? Imagine that. What will be hilarious is watching you burn in Hell for all eternity. :sinner: :haha:

As an atheist, we should always be interested in critically examining evidence, even if it conflicts with our beliefs.

Also, dude, you're not really making us atheists look good.

To a Christian, atheists don't look good anyway, so why attempt. Unless of course you want to stop spitting in baby Jesus' face and accept him in your heart.

wow. selling your daughter. Not only is that against the constitution of the United states of america but it is the Devil's work upon you that you would possibly be so greedy as to sell your own daughter to support your lavish, immoral lifestyle. shame on you, you will never gain redemption in god's eyes

Not that there's 22 pages of Biblical evidence on this thread. Why can't you God-mockers be bothered to read the threads before replying? It would make you look a lot less stupid.

Anyway, could you please point out where the practice of Brides Price is illegal in the US?

Read:
"And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter."
Exd. 2:21

So giving daughters away is fine but selling is wrong?

I understand your predicament. I don't envy you. I wish there was something that I could do to help with a solution. In discussing the matter with the Love of My Life she said something to the effect of "I will not play the Mormon" whatever that means. I decided the conversation was over when she said that she was "not an Old Testament wife".

I think women should come with a manual. They are so difficult to understand at times and can be so unruly. I've already broken all the switches I have in the house while lovingly disciplining her and it is way, way to cold to go outside and break off a few replacements. Why, oh why did I ever promise her that I would never require her to fetch her own switches? I can only offer youth at the time as an excuse.

My Brother I have spent most of my adult life( and a lot of my teenage years) trying to understand the female mind. I have read oh so may books, shoot I even went to some of them weekend seminars with my first wife(a giant waste of time and money). The books and the seminars all said the same thing. Man must become in touch with HIS feminine side. I don't know about the rest of you, but I don not have a feminine side, what ever that is. God made me a man, not a he/she.

I used to bring flowers home every day for my wife, she would say why are you spending money on flowers? So one day I stopped, she busted out with the tears, and said " You don't love me any more", No matter what you do you are screwed!

If your wife tries on a new dress, and she says does this make my butt look big?
1) DO NOT say yes
2) you can not lie ( Jesus hates liars) so you can not say no
3) I just say nice color, it brings out your eyes.( totaly throws them off)
4) lesson why are you dress shopping with your wife in the first place?

All I can say is this, every time I try to understand a woman I get a horrible headache.

You fellows coddle your women, that is your problem. The women would look good in a dress if they worked those calories off and did not eat so much. Mrs. Hutchins is still barely 100 pounds, all of my daughters are slender too. I check them regularly for excess body fat or anything that might turn away a suitor.
The problem I have is not enough eligible (and suitable) young True Christian™ men in the area. That and the fact the Mrs. Hutchins makes a girl for every two boys she has, I think. All I know is there is a lot of them in the womens part of the house and when they get together, they sound worse than a hen house. Even the 200 messicans living in the chicken coop are not that loud, even on a Saturday night.
No, I need to get my second home built in Freehold this summer and then bring the girls of marrying age out and get them married to boys from good families. Heck, I'll even throw in the dowry money as a gift to the Church if this works out.

I think you are correct. I know that after my ex-wife and I visited you and your family last spring, she was never quite the same. She got very quiet all of the sudden. I sometimes wonder what happened to her, I have not seen nor heard from her since that trip. Did the two Messicants ever return?

How are we manipulating anything? The Bible clearly lays out the conditions for selling one's daughter.

I didn't make it up. If you have a problem with it, take it up with God.

Exodus 21:7-11 And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.
If she please not her master, who hath betrothed her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully with her.
And if he have betrothed her unto his son, he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters.
If he take him another wife; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish.
And if he do not these three unto her, then shall she go out free without money.

They are not. They'd rather I continue my life as an "independent" woman instead of devoting myself to Jesus.

Luckily, thanks to the Bible, I have no problem leaving my old friends and family behind.

"If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." Luke 14:26

Now what possible relevance did your comment have to this thread? It's not a thread about me, so I don't see why I'm a topic of discussion.

You are really willing to sell your daughter for worldy possesions? I would rather die on the streets than sacrafice the sanctity of anything that lives or breaths for souless posessions.

You people really do make me sick, I planned on trolling you sick ass holes for along time silently, but this really does take the cake.. And I will find it, if its in my ability, to link this directly to the FBI for procuring a child under age 16 for lewd and lascivious acts..

You all have a great day, and when you all are burning in hell for acting like "Thou Are Better" and condeming people to hell "This is gods decision, not yours, judge not" I will be sure to wave down to you as I stand on gods right side.
