What is the difference between Denmark and the Netherlands?

I was informed earlier that I had mistaken Denmark for the Netherlands. It's not the same thing? I thought that's where all that Aesops fables stuff all came from.

They're both two cities that fought against the NAZIs in WWII, right? And they both have dykes that keep the cities dry?

Maybe if I knew some of the differences I'd be able to tell them apart.

It's easy: they have wooden shoes and windmills in Denmark.

I thought they were the same country, just different names. Like they are also called the Dutch so Denmark (Dutch = Den) makes sense. Sort of like calling people from Iowa "Corn Huskers" or Ohio "Hoosiers" or North Carolinians "Tarheels"

Netherlands has more prostitutes.

Denmark has more heroin addicts.

Netherlands has more pedophiles.

Denmark has slightly hairier women.

I think both countries have similar bestiality rates.

I thought that the people in Finland had the wooden shoes.
Who has the city of Amsterdam? Don't tell me its Norway right. Why not just lump Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and what ever ass backwards country I missed into one country. We could just call it Dumdassland.

Hmm, I though Zealand was the capital of Denmark, as it was a Dutch chap (Abel Tasman) who discovered New Zealand; I've heard that the Denmarkish often like to be referred to as "Dutch". The Netherlands is where we get "nether regions" from.

The Netherlands is a flat country with lieberal views and an unpronounceable language that is famous for its bacon, beer and cheese, whereas Denmark is a flat country with lieberal views and an unpronounceable language that is famous for its bacon, beer and cheese. However, politically, The Netherlands has a monarch and a coalition government in contrast to Denmark that has a monarch and a coalition government.

For anyone who is still confused, may I suggest they remember that both countries drive on the same side of the road and use metric measurements.

I hope that clears up the matter.

Re: What is the difference between Denmark and the Netherlands?

Upon further research, I found some more differences;

* while children in both country are slower than average to achieve toilet training, Danish children take some what longer than the Dutch

* Danish toddlers and children are slightly more likely to eat their own boogers, the Dutch more likely to eat other children's.

* Dutch toddlers are somewhat more likely to wet the bed, the Danish children prefer to soil theirs

* Catholic priests prefer Danish children to molest, but curiously, the Dutch children are less likely to report the abuse

If you look at the center of this map, you may see the location of these two countries. You may learn something about Europe too.

Pastor Ezekiel gave me a warning to teach you guys something.
Great work! I think it's positive think that Americans don't
know even basic things about Europe, and they don't want to know.

And why do you think this? Why do you hate Jesus so much? I sense a lot of anger in your posts.
